Played a few days in c1 and just come back and I had to download the c4 client and i am updating to the latest update now but it is going so slow i am getting at most 10kb/s. is there a way to improve this? use a different update server ect?
other than making sure you have all the ports used for Lineage open in your firewall, and checking for a slew of connection problems that could occur anywhere between your PC and NCSoft's update server's, probably not much you can do
****, its been updating for 27 hours and is only about 75% done.
That actually means nothing. It means it has checked and updated 75% of your files and not the actual file size. You'll run into spots where the updater runs fast because the files are small. My current L2 directory file size is 7.94 gigs without movies and maybe one or two screenshots.
