oke yesterday ive got a problem.
i am darkelf ...and i saw the sea near the city so i jumped into it (beginning darkelf place)
and i saw a island so i thougt lets swim to there.
but it took me like 10 minutes swimming before i whas on the side of the island where i can enter it.
and when i finally whas there ........there where dinosaurs
i know this is a island for higher lvls so i attacked 1 dinosaur to die and respawn in the beginning city..
but i respwaned on the same island!!!
so how can i go back to my beginning city???
i dont wanna swim again XD
and that stupid ship kicks me off when its leaving....
ps.
does it matter what kind of skills i buy for my darkelf?? finally i wanna be a phantom ranger
There should be a gatekeeper in one of the Wharfs. But bear in mind, I've only visited the Dino Island on the PTS, so I don't remember it well. The ship kicks you off because you need to buy a ticket to be able to stay ON the ship.
I suggest you just swim back, really. Might be easier and safer since mobs there are aggro. And yes, those are lvl 8x mobs. No wonder you died ;)

I guess this is just another thing the developers didn't think through, a new player's curiosity. Ya, and that ship has been glitched since it was created.
My suggestion is to try to swim back. Or, if you have friends that are higher levels, have them summon you off the island. I can't think of another way to get you off.

Is your Hero Chat on? (Ok, I usually leave mine off, but that's because most of the banter is inane and juvenile.) But this may work for you.
Hero Chat appears in blue text. When you see a hero speak on your dialogue screen, click on his/her name. This will prompt a PM dialogue. Ask them nicely if they can send a shout out to the entire server for someone who can assist you.
That said, I like your idea of just swimming back. If nothing else, it teaches you self-reliance & patience and prepares you for out of the box thinking. This will get you far in L2.
Only time i was ever there was on the PTS when it 1st showed up and i swam back to rune from there but try all the other players ideas 1st and if you have to i'm sure you can swim back to DE village but those cliffs will make it hard to get back on shore so you'd need to use unstuck to get back on shore maybe?

The only drawback there is that he would need a summoner's crystal in his inventory. I don't think that most new players would even know to buy one of those, let alone can afford their cost when you consider everything else that they are saving up for.

If you swim out a little ways just past the boat dock you will soe to Rune.
Yup. There is a trader on the island where you can buy soe. Buy one, swim out a bit and do /loc while swimming, until it says that you are near rune. Then soe.
We have already established that you can buy an soe from the trader on the island, swim like 2 feet out until the map says 'Rune' and soe back to town.

ive buyed the full version already but ive got a trial code from a nc soft mamber so now i have 14 day trial and i like the game so now i buy the gametimecard
so i need to add code from the cd and timecard ??
You need to upgrade your account with the code from the CD (meaning the full version). Generally it should give you 30 days already included. Once your 30 days are over, you apply the timecard.

but it says when i put in the cd code that i need to input gametimecard at same time??? why????
Umm oh yeah. Umm... That's part of the activation procedure, you need either a valid credit card number or a timecard. Don't think you can go past that.
But the gametime card time is added to your account. Meaning that if you still have, let's say 7 days, you apply the CD code (which should give you 30 days), and a 30 days timecard, you should have 67 days to play.

Start Swimming towards Rune Castle/Castle Town. As your swimming, keep typing '/loc' and hit enter, until it say's 'Rune Castle Town' instead of 'Primeval Island'. Then SoE, and you will be off the island.
The simplest way would be to create a new character.
Very true but he should keep his 1st toon for those special times it's needed for the shadow gear they have given us in the past. A call to arms events they do on occasion.
