Dwarf lvling

Dwarf Classes Started Last reply 9 posts
I rolled a couple of dwarfs so I could make my own shots and have pack mules :P Anyways I got them both into their 20's (one crafter, other scav) and I was wondering if anyone had good tips for leveling the artisan. Poling the way to go? If so where and any other tips would be helpful. Would be +3 Brig set, elven jewels, common Pole/common Blunt, and newbie buffs.

PS- The scav I'm not as worried about, I'll just single target level while spoiling for stuff I want to get.

Catta start at Nos then work your way up to HC at 30 and Branded at 40 and APOS at 52.

If your plan on going higher then witches at 61 but it's hard to AOE in the first rooms so you might want go with a Blunt at A grade :D
poling non stop especially for dorf alts who don't need pvp gear
check out any cata your lvl and look for the low pdef non nuking mobs (pretty common til mid 60's) grab noobie buffs and increase the amount of mobs you pull slowly till you reach your break point
Poling is better on all accounts. Unless your looking for a certain item.

for example,

Hot Springs is great for mats and A recs.
k thx for the tips
Ah bumping this instead of making a new thread:

On a bounty hunter if you wanted to use spoil festival and pole is there an effective means of targeting the dead mobs before they disappear? I find that with more than 3 or 4 mobs I just can't get to them before I get the corpse is too old message, not too mention the fact that sometimes a part of the group will die before the rest is done beating on me.

I am hoping there is a way to rig a macro to do this but seeing as you generally have to shift click to target dead creatures I realize that's probably not going to happen :(
there's no way to do it
either get better at clicking or deal with it ><

Oh well, guess I'll have to get to work on cat like reflexes lol.
Poling Catacombs is the way to go, but if you ever need a change of scenery, there are other good poling spots around those lvl's too. I like to do Cruma 2nd floor in my 40s, the group mobs up there are pretty nice and undead also if you can get yourself holy weapon.

One of my favorite spots is the bottom of Garden of Eva though. This is best for mid-high C grade, and the group mobs there give very good xp. In the 50s I like to pole huge pulls at Pavel's ruins, once I get into B grade. I usually don't even take a healer there, the noobie buffs and a few emergency hp pots get me by, and mobs drop herbs and greater HP pots to refill between pulls for non-stop action. Don't forget the quests there, can grab a few B grade weapon recipes like that.
