OK... We can change weapons, bows into crossbows, but we can't change arrows into bolts..?
What's wrong here? We have to sell our ng, D & C-grade arrows and buy our own grade for 3x (4x outside Giran) the price we get for the arrows. That while arrows drop by dozens and so far I've never seen ANY bolt dropped :(
IMO Wardens should get a skill to convert arrows into bolts.
black marketeer of mammon has ability to change arrows>bolts but it can be annoying to go to one to do it.
I know that option, but he only exchanges B A and S bolts. Alberasters are FORCED to buy theur D & C bolts in store. With that, you always have to take enough bolts with you since you can't use picked up arrows :(

It's not so bad. Using a XBow at D & C grade is pretty inefficient anyway. You'll be better off melee'ing with a rapier till around mid-Cgrade.
Does that takes so long to get to B-grade? No, I dont think so. To the usability of crossbow, I must say its pretty inefficient to play with it around D/C grade, thats right. But if you consider that someone has choosen an arbalester, then he has choosen it so he can play it as a range class not a close-range-fighter class.
I know that because I did the same. As soon as I had the possibility to use crossbow, I was using it. But in general it would be more vise to use a rappier till 52 or so where the VR can handle the HP issues.
