Good leveling Spot for berserker

Kamael Classes Started Last reply 10 posts
Hey all.

I am just wondering if anyone has any good suggestion on where to lvl a berserker from 40 and up? Also have a boxed SE around same lvl with me

Thank you for any help :)
from 40 with SE buffs, your strong enough to take on the Forest of Evil mobs. Start with the Green things and the bugbears that don't aggro.
As you become comfortable with them (taking on say 5 and not being in serious danger of dying horribly), move onto the ones that do aggro and gradually work your way up to the area surrounding the Raid Boss King Tarik. XP should go pretty quick here.
After this area you can move up to the Oel Mahum Forest (at about 47-48) pound for pound the xp is a lot better on the Oel Mahum (I usually move there early even if they are red, but then I'm an insane person so...). You can stay here till about 57-58 iirc. Very easy mobs and good xp.
The Doctors also drop Silver Unicorns (like some of the mobs in Forest of Evil) if you doing the Coin quests. After that, Forsaken Plains till about 63-64 (or you have enough Coins for top A grade weapon recs if your doing it) then live in Goddard till S grade. Afterwards Hot Springs is nice and easy till 78 or so iirc (not there yet on my new main toon).
You can start to play in Isle of Prayer for a while if you want at about 76 or so (lovely place) where you can get some Kamael high level skills books (Soul Strike, Prahnah, Enuma Elish, Final Form, Soul Vortex, Etc.) and Fire stones (easy money). They also drop stuff for S80 gear. They are mostly water mobs with water magic. If you don't have S grade with water attribute defense, I'd stay far away from any of the heavy mage mobs (stay near the ones thjat root you and the Jellyfish thing). Some also stun+nuke which is nice of them. These are high-level stuns so they land a lot regardless of non boss-jewel gear.
Castalila or whatever it's called hits friggin' hard on mage crits if your not geared/leveled properly. As do the Crysocola or whatever. Only bother risking IoP if your SE has the level 70 Combo buffs to get Magic barrier 2 and you have good jewels.

After hitting S grade, you can stay in Hot Springs, IoP, (a few other places I forget) but tbh, you'll probably still be doing the Varka/Ketra stuff (do a search for this) that you need to do till at least ally level 2 for the 3rd class change or all the way for the S grade armour recs/parts anyways so I guess the choice is yours (although Varka is pretty horrible both in XP and in terms of 'fun'. That's also if you can even get a spot ^_^.)
Ty and will look into it. So far the forest of evil was a nice place and already turning yellow on me so thinking about trying to move to ol mahum place further north.

So far taken the magic coin quest for the silver unicons
Any other quests you can suggest on the way up?
Go ahead and stick with Forest of Evil till they're almost light blue because the exp difference between Forest of Evil and Outlaw Post isn't that much so you might as well stay where you can kill faster.

If you need AA you can live in Branded till late 40's then move into Apostate, that place will be good till 58 in the front. If you can't find a spot in Forsaken Plains(place is very very popular), you can alternatively goto Fields of Massacre and maybe even level up soul crystals for a bit of extra cash. As soon as you can fight effectively in Garden of Beasts(Not to be confused with Beast Farm) outside Goddard you'll be living there for a long time since the exp is really good and everything goes down really quick to melee.

76 and onwards, IoP is really nice if you can survive, Shrine of Loyalty is decent, Hot Springs may be good but they stun like crazy there and kamael get stunned very very easily. When part 3 comes out, Swamp of Screams is supposed to drop herbs but since you have a boxed buffer, that place could work out for you. Also Varka Silenos would be good since they have the same melee weakness as Garden of Beasts.
Alligator Island is a great place to spend the majority of your 40's. There are tons of mobs with just the right spacing. I spent most of my 50's in catas, so I don't really have any suggestions for those levels. When you get into the 60's though, Forsaken Plains is a great place to level.

All weak to dark types.

Vos is horrible for melee toons. There are far better options at that level. Also I wouldn't go to MoS specifically for the dark-weak either as unless your rich, theres no need to have a 150 dark HD/Gram, especially considering the coming skill enchant options for Zerkers.
Only the Soul Hound is truly dark imo. The other 2 are like typical dd's with a few interesting toggles.

VoS isn't weak to dark, they are just angel which only benefits you if you are a DA or SK with banish Serapth, and even then, that skill is worthless on 1x hp mobs due to the cost.
When you have possiblity to make PT,
including Healer/TANK/BUFFER you can go to Ancient Battleground,
and do a quick exp. Mobs are there from 60 to 70lvl :)

Just buyyourself Maj LA (stun resistance+50%),
and use some aoe attacks :)

I made there in 4 ppl pt arround 40%+ in 64lvl in arround 2h :).
and lvling 40-55 can be done i cruma tower :)
