Well all three of these classes pwn in olympaid...well if their good

PS-is pure summoner, it summons a demon, summons 3 cubics, and support its summon while the summon fights. fighting a summoner is like fighting two players which is why it is so difficult especially on self buffs. and both are tough to kill, because the summoner has transfer pain and battle heal and the summon has heals and buffs and UD ...go figure

its summoners lasts for a long time and are very strong with the buffs the summoner can provide

the cubics provide assistance to the summoner and/or debuffs or curses the enemy. in PS sake it has a cubic that lowers defences and cubic that stuns. at level 80 they get a smart cubic, the ultimate cubic.

PS and Warlock has b2m which helps towards mp regen some

Necromancer-is a straight out hybrid. It nukes, it summons, it debuffs but they're all not the best

it's nukes are dark and many things are dark resist and the main nuke (deathspike) costs cursed bones to cast. They have deathspike, vampiric claw, cursed life drain, and a lesser used but quite strong aoe, corpse burst.

it's summons can only be summoned from a corpse and lasts 1/4 the duration of a pure summon, the necro only has 4 possible low buffs for the summon(might 1, shield 1, windwalk 1, concentration 2) and a lesser servitor heal(stops at level 35.) but on the bright side it has transfer pain.

its debuffs are deadly however, and the debuffs mostly define this class as necromancers curse their enemies to death. They have a buff to reduce mdef (cursed gloom) which has the best land rate and strengthens the nukes and land rate of the other deadly debuffs also mass gloom which used right can extended even farther than 900 range and hit multiple targets. They have posion, sleep, silence(gg to mages), mass slow, fear, mass fear, a debuff that 1/2s the healing effects on a target, a debuff that lowers attk, a debuff that lowers accuracy, and anchor(GG to everyone)

Downside is range
while gloom is 900, everything else is 600 and mass fear and slow are 500 with anchor(most devasting debuff) being 400 range

Warcryer- has the best bunch of buffs that can buff an entire party at once. the best fighter prophecy (chant of victory) they have some debuffs, a HoT heal, the most powerful drain, and are very verstile

WC- can wear any armor, (i recommend light, good to fight, good to cast)
-they have some single target debuffs, the fastest casting and very good landing sleep(dreaming spirit) besides trance, a DoT,
a toggle to drastically boost pattk while consuming mp over time.
a drain that returns the most hp out of all drains
very good selection of party buffs
very good to level fighter pets
very good addition to parties (omg you can fully buff everyone in 5 seconds and fight!!! *kicks out the prophet* lol)
Could you clarify what cubic on ps drains? Maybe my lvl 72 PS needs to learn it since it only has the debuff cubic and stun cubic....

PS. Ironic retort pointing out that you are thinking of SK cubics. Have fun :D

o yea my bad, and forgot they have a weak deathspike...or maybe i didn't...
thank you KnightOfDarkness, but now I have no idea which one I should level!:( haha

Well what do you like doing the most?
I really like the PS, but all I think about him is that he run everyone to not get hit while the summon try to kill the enemy:P Warcryer looked nice too but when I watch video about him, all I see is the drain life things. nothing else lol

Well Thats how robe summoners do it. light armor summoners join the brawl because they have more pdef along with transfer pain (though in that point the summon is easier to kill) but thats where you can carry two weapons, a mage weapon with acumen, and a fighter weapon to quickly heal and fight becuase you lose some cast speed, (good to have +4wit tat)

Warcryers, they are some hard orcs to kill and skilled ones are a mad powerful

They drain your hp with freezing flame and Venom
They drain your mp with Aura Sink
They can quickly sleep and or fear you
They drain you pretty hard and shoot their hp right back up
they greatly increase their pattk to hit you hard with soul cry
they can stun you
They can keep their hp up with chant of life (with drain, they're hp stays up)
And their tough to kill as they have some of the best buffs and VR4 and CoV
the downside is they use up mp pretty fast, but the battle will be decided before it completely runs out (with robes thats a different story)

Overlords...meh, Dominators kill

stop you from healing
lowers all stats
stops you from attacking
stops hp/mp/cp regen
can become invincible
sleeps, fears, stuns
lowers accuracy
poisions's, flames
slows attack speed
slows run speed
drains
drains mp
raises self def and pattk
buffs entire clan
heals and regens hp
heals cp
roots
silences
increases reuse delay (Good Jesus)
most debuffs are AOE
sucky things are, they run out of mp very fast and they suck to level
Warcryers, they are some hard orcs to kill and skilled ones are a mad powerful

+1
Well, if decide on a buffer, WC is the best and most popular nowadays with good reason.
I do have an OverLord at level 58...very hard to level. OFC end-game they rock.

For LA style, BW light is a very good set, even for A grade, but end-game you have to switch to robes.
The acumen weapon and +4 WIT or better +5 WIT are a must.
No point for the fighter weapon, especially as the summoner level increases, as the servitor's DPS is so much higher than the meagre damage addition of the summoner hits.
Do get a BtB stick (Ghoul's Staff is cheaper but effect 4, while Staff of Evil Spirit costs about 100M for effect 5) to equip while buffing.
Now for the PS, it is not necessary to kite in robes, especially with NightShade out that can heal you nicely. I always go into melee next to the servitor in order to manor, despite wearing Tallum robes. The only time I have died is from nuker mobs that had 2 magic criticals on me.
Melee damage was never a problem. In early 60s, I sometimes took on the Beast Lord group in Giant's Cave solo (wearing robes).
Can I just hijack this thread for a sec and ask what makes Nightshade so good? I stopped my PS at 58. I didn't see what was so good about him. This was back in Interlude, though.

It actually has pdef, so u dont have to rely on it having to VR most of the hp back. It also has skills that can help protect the actual summoner (sacrifice hp to heal you, aoe hate, single target hate), and it also offer 3 buffs: Death whisper, focus and guidance.

It has a bit lower patk than the Soulless, but the pdef and skills more than makes up for it.

it has higher pdef. you can use it to solo cata.

Well, I did solo Witches a few times with Shade, but without VR I run out of mana after 2 buff rounds.
It is ok to solo a small Cata room
In duo with any class it is very easy to keep a big room... I partied with a BD sometimes.
Adding to the benefits of NIghtshade:
1) it gets the lowest XP (3%) until level 68 (then both NS and Souless get 0%)
2) it costs less than souless in terms of C crystals - big difference for levels 60-66, 68-72
3) it costs less than than any servitor in terms of beastshots (2 per hit, when Souless/Shadow take 4)
4) Its healing ability is excellent... only a Bishop heals better. Only issue is that it is single-target only. Do not forget to use Beast Spiritshots for double healing effect.

At 63, I solo a big room of greens/whites in Witches. That is completly solo, no OOP buffers. To do it, I have to use Shadow to clear the room. Then I dump him in favor of Nightshade, 3% drain versus 25% drain is a huge difference at full vitality. It is a bit more challenging, but the same room with Shadow is absolutly no challenge. With both cubics, +4 TSU/SLS with shots, and light armor (so I can take some hits), my mana is good for several rounds. If you aren't using a DD weapon with shots, you might lose mana after two rounds, but then simply bring Shadow up for a while until you're at full MP. That same room with Shadow requires no heals and will let your mana recharge.

body to mind?

i got no problem with mp, i sit while waiting for respawn.

This is a correct tactic.
After depleting my mana in 2 buff rounds, I got Shadow up and it barely needs any healing, so the mana is regenarated. But then XP rate is really bad with Shadow. Catas are good for AA farming, but I completely gave it up for places of better leveling.
At 63 up to 70, my advice is take your PS to VoS... you just need a good majestic jewelery set to face the hard-hitting nuker mobs... if running around a bit, spots are always available, unlike bot-infested Catas (and I play in Teon)
Garden of Beasts would be good, but last time I checked, it looked like Garden of Bots... legit chars are forbidden there.

good in pvp ? meh, i would take a dwarf instead of LOL PS LOL (sorry MK :p)

good in olympiad ? yes they are decent in Oly, especially at higher level (81 with smart cubic and excess loyalty(huge stats boost to the summoner), sevitor barrier (CS) and somethingy (?)
People still say only a Bishop? Heals better than a Nightshade?

Well, at least you can Heal/Recharge it.

Just cause your Summoner is level 58, doesn't mean you need to be stuck in Witches. At level 58 the back room of Apostate is still White and it's a large room. Stay there until 61 or so.

Nightshade uses HP to heal much like the paladin ability sacrifice.
Much like sacrifice the heal is extremely fast-casting and it's INSTANT meaning no HoT...
Apparently those are 700pt heals with a short recast (I am told it is 1sec)
Nightshade has 11k+ HP self-buffed (BTB5) (8600 or so unbuffed)

Most people forget that the PS/SM can DISMISS his summon and summon a full-HP nightshade.

Nightshade costs 123 mana at level 74.

123mana = 8600HP worth of near insta 700pt heals.

Nightshade is not a Cardi (balance life ftw) but he is definitely a potent healer.

As for PvP:
Summoners are quite potent in all forms of PvP as they are not squishy (Transfer Pain) and have reasonably potent damage output.
With an Augment nuke and their 79 pet, Summoners have a reasonable chance to kill 1 for 1 even outnumbered and often go +1 due to killing then having the toughness to get out of there OR people completely forgetting that killing the summoner DOES NOT kill the pet.

Note that Summoners DO NOT have the burst damage of a buffed archer or buffed mage and thus are not anywhere near as good for gank/BSoE that most people call PvP.
I know what Nightshades can do. My question was clearly rhetorical.

A Nightshade is far inferior to a Bishop or EE in healing prowess, and SE's aren't that bad in PvE with Bless the Blood + their Greater Heals. I'd take an SE over a Nightshade as a healer any day.
