I have issues with light armor.

The best light armor at B grade is C grade (Plated Leather).

At A grade my light armor fighter types all wear Tallum Heavy, except the Kamael, who wears DC. I do like how Dark Elves look in Maj Light, though.

At S grade...Draconic! Finally a look that I like! Even human females look good in it, which is not the case with most other LA's.

A good B grade armor is blue wolf especially for soul breakers

At B Grade I used a +6 Plated Leather Set on my SB. I guess it all depends on where you XP.

blue wolf has more pdef than A light, has + cast speed and mdef and mp and resists. also good for mp suckers like tyrant and dagger

my favorite LA set
actually I tried a Plated Leather set+6 on my Berseker grinding in Frozen Labyrinth using AoE and it did not work, the PDef was just too low...
then i changed to BW LA+3 and had no problems leveling up from 53 to 63.
Now for A grade I reckon best option is Nightmare as it has the highest PDef... Majestic is as good but intended for archers only:
the set bonus defines the target classes, so it depends on the class really.

B grade PL +6 or not better than most of them.
A grade DC is good but NM is pretty cool
S grade drac cuz well....its drac
