power - When I think of a powerful weapon, regardless of class, I think of Bows. Watching your p atk skyrocket when you put one on is just thrilling to me.
SA's - Health or Focus are two of my favorites, Focus for obvious crit related reasons and Health because a mountain of hitpoints is always useful!
image - Shyeed's Bow is my favorite Weapon based solely on looks. In fact, many of the Top A grade weapons are quite visually striking. Following a close second is the Mace Of The Underworld. Third place is the Samurai Longsword.
Power: Bows, the only weapon you can use no matter what class you are
SA: I don't really know what my favorite is, SA's should be rethought though, a bow should never have focus
Looks: Heaven's divider, Dark Legion Edge, Kashenberk, Sword of Valhalla. In that order. The Infinity weapons look quite good as well, even without the glow. they are simple and elegant (most of them, the bow and fists are fugly)
Sword of Miracles. I've always been partial to double-bladed swords.
The weapon that I like the most, though, hasn't been introduced to this game: the Naginata. When I first heard rumors of the Kamael, I had hoped that their Ancient Swords would be modeled after a naginata. Instead they look like meat cleavers on steroids.
SoM is the most beautiful sword in game. And the Dragon Slayer is the most badass Double-handed sword in game. I've always said that I wanted to have these when I started playing, and I do (one is common now, but I had a real DS that I sold to fund my real SoM :D ).
DLE is the most beautiful one-handed sword. I hate the look on the Drac Bow (And Drac armor too). Actually, I hate the look on almost ALL S grade items. (S80's are nicer).
As for SA: Acumen and Focus. That's what I go for.
Oe'd ELS has always been one of my favorites and Sword of Damascus was the last good sword I owned as a tank (at least it had focus as an SA).
My DLE is pretty but not terribly powerful.
I'd go Dama #1 and ELS #2 in usefulness. Don't know about s-grade as I've never looked that far ahead and will likely never reach those levels :)
Staff of life that's glowie is pretty cool one-handed blunt, too imho......always loved the Claymore.
Dual SLS's look good (and the SLS overall is a handsome weapon)--very solid for C-grade one hander. Can't OE them (as a single) to save my soul and have broken so many I gave up trying to get them past +4!
Power: I'd say bows too, but since you can compare that to any other wpn, i'd say duals ^^

Well for obvious reason a bow has the power and the amazing crit rate...but someone said putting focus on a bow is dumb...when ur hitting on average 3k and u use focus as SA it's deff ubber **** but crit bleed is nice for PVP players..for looks i would deff go with the DLE specially my +15/DLE w/health that i obsolutley love..but for SA's it's a toss up..all depends on what u r using it for....for tankers it's a toss up between a health and focus but A grade has no focus wpns so i like to say get a dama and focus it and try to OE it as much as u can to pull aggro while tanking..but then again if u r a DE u need the health..choices to make!!!

I agree. Focus IS a PvE thing. But I'm a PvE'er, so I will always prefer focus over health. Unless the looks on the sword are stronger than my desire to have focus on it (Such as the Dragon Slayer hehe).

pretty much all tanks on sayha use focus instead of health. the extra 7% crit rate trumps the 1500 hp since tanks take so little damage to start with and they can spam cp pots when noble. besides, no one really targets tanks in pvp anymore.
I believe the prettiest weapon is the Elven Bow. You seldom see one, it is D grade and not even top D. Unlike most bows, it is not overly busy in design, it has a classic clean sweep and its color compliments the glow from an OE very nicely.

Ipos is a 2-handed sword that turns into an Ancient Sword, so I can't use skills that require a rapier with it. The Soul Breaker has little to no Ancient Sword masteries depending if you went male or female, and all Soul Breaker melee skills require a rapier. Hence I cannot use the Sword of Ipos /w Focus conversion and use my melee skills at the same time.

i believe next update all physical skills are dependant on str for success since they're taking away the dynamic recast timers.

Actually, the Naginata is not a variation of the Katana. If the naginata were to implemented in Lineage II it would be a polearm, as the actual weapon... I am sure that a simple google serach will educate any skeptics.

I personally like 2h swords. They are powerful and do more damage per ss. My favorite skin would probably be the Infernal Master. Simple and awesome.
i like the infernal master for it's elegant design, but i can't get enough of the great sword for the intimidation factor...also i'm a light elf female that's sub'd destro and, for some reason, the weapons are always huge on light elf females.
In terms of Two-Handed swords... I personally favor the Dragon Slayer Kamael Transformation (Undertaker) if I am not mistaken... it has a very original form and fits the fantasy setting of this game very well.
My favorite Single handed swords are the Dark Legion's Edge, and the Icarus Sword. (They look very similar exept for color and lighting).
None of the bows in this game are particularly striking to me, sinse they are all essentially impossible (could never actually fire an arrows with any strength). ecept for a select few realistic NG bows.
I absolutely love the Titan hammer (D grade) it looks deceptively high grade, though it isn't, and has an elegant appeal that all the other 2-handed blunts are missing. The DMG is the best 1-handed blunt.
The Sword of Miracles is definately my favorite Magic Sword. It has a very art-nouveau, sort of organic look to it... very "magical" in nature.
