Okay I have run into this Golfbag character a few times, and I have been keeping up with this thread. While I don't like the fact a guy is just out killing people at random, it is part of the game and you don't have to play it. I do agree it is frustrating and I do agree it is a bit petty, but you do have a defense if you wish to keep playing the game. Simply put your defense that has worked for me thus far has been to go deep into a higher level catacomb. Seems he has a harder time going past the opening room in the catas/necros, but he has gotten me in there as well. But, to his credit he does not camp your corpse or continually be at the same areas. So, while I don't much like Golfbag, I am neither prepared to take him on or really able to at this time. Even with my +9 Dama*Tallum I doubt I could take him, but that is neither here nor there. All I can really hope for is he doesn't find me and leaves me alone for the time being. Also take note of who he travels around with, because he gets buffs from somebody.
He actually does try to take out 80+ players from all sides. TJ/Bregan/Boss/UR, all of them, and fails miserably most of the time if they are live. There are even hero shouts some times about how pathetic he really is at PvP. And he does go after 80+ on every class, doesn't matter to him.

God so many rumors, you guys have no clue what you are talking about! Golfbag is the original Grays from Gorillaz. No, none of those characters were sharifthewhite's and we have taken out plenty of real players who are 78+! I was the one playing billboy. This is sakon btw!
