Well I'm coming back for a month...Started in 2005 but went away because of grind issues after 75....maybe things will be a little better? Plus, I just saw that kain server is two in one? OMG! ;)

L2 is kinda cool nowadays. No overcrowded areas from 2005/2006.. where you had to fight for a spot to XP.

What's wrong with fighting for a spot to XP? I wish they forced people to duel everytime someone else walked into their XP spot, with full XP loss.

That would make quite few players to quit L2. me included.

There are many that plays L2 just for the PvE, forcing them to PvP is not a good idea.

Anyway, it's all objective. It could totally be thriving and you could come back and not like the direction it's gone...or you could find yourself immersed in a new addiction. *wink* I'm glad you're giving it a try! I personally love it, flaws and all, and I'm sticking with it 'til they pull the plug.
