So i couldn't find too many threads about the recent lags EVERYONE has been experiencing outside of the USA from the game, and even alot of USA players. Has been in the past month or so, where suddenly you just "black screen on vista for example" and have 1-2 second packet lag, everyone in party gets it type of thing.

Any official comment on it?
This is to be expected for non NA players on NA servers.
2 years new. I've been playing since '05 so don't give me that beta rubbish. Seriously, if these lags are new to you then you wanna talk to your ISP, not NC.
I've always had a 1 - 2 second lag in game; why do you think I'm in a non PvP clan? Because I can't.

my isp? im playing with people from different country's all over the world, sure we are used to some lag but this stuff kills groups type of stuff
I had a few spikes, along with a few clannies, last week. None of us were in locations which had links, so we just put it down to a general internet hic-up.
My ping is getting poorer in general, I put it down to the inevitable surge the internet is having with new and more frequent users connecting more and more often.
Yup, when people from all over the world all have lag spike at the same time, it's not a local ISP problem, it is more likely that it is some problem closer to the servers (like some router a large part of the player base has to go through on the way to the servers, maybe even a problem at the place the servers are hosted). From what I hear from my clannies (both euro and US), EVERYBODY has more lag the last 2-3 months than ever before, for example the very nasty "omg my screen is frozen for ten seconds" which happens 1-2 times during a usual 3-4 hour playing session (which never ever happened in any expansion since I started playing, except when my whole internet connection went splat). I play on Phoenix, usually my ping to the server is quite good (100ms or so), I can play perfectly fine - but then suddenly BOOM lagspike, I cannot do anything for a few seconds, and then the game is fine again for an hour. And, like I said, usually several players have that lag at the same time.
I was having problems on top of the lag...but last night my stores stayed up all night and i was able to log two accounts on my computer at the same time without GG getting in the way :)

Same thing for me. I actually though it was my ISP until I got to talking to some other folks in game/vent and they are having the same problem.
I don't see any lag in Texas. Score one for Texas! If some people have sound connections and others don't, can that be a serverside issue? The game runs as well as it ever has for me.
Like I said, I opend an support ticket and they say that I have to check my graphik drivers and all that stuff. Well, the problem disappeard 2 days ago and came back yesterday night.
Now, the next step of the support ticket, they ask for my internet connection and network stuff....hmmm....why now? I mean, I opend the ticket with a title like "I have a Packetloss Problem" not with "I have a graphik Problem"...we will see how this story going to end :)
And about the ping of Teon?! I'm still dreaming of a ping of 1 because I'm living in the same city where the server are located :D....they are about 2km away from my home....just put my network cabel in to the server.....*click*.....Ping = 1 :D
I play from Texas as well and had no lag for a long while (more than a month). People I know who player from other States, even one from Russia, hasn't experience much huge lag spike either. Not sure what is causing the lag for some but not others. Maybe one of the router between several ISPs feeding to their ISP?
