I got the urge to pull out the newletter were it said character transfers will happen soon. :)
But I stoped myself, good news for everyone that is sick and tired of there main.
I'm confused. How will the Main=Sub thing work when the sub can lvl to 80 only curently so if you swich your main who is lvl 85 with your lvl 80 sub what happens?

I don't think that there're many who want's to swap main and sub at those lvl's :)

I just hope they don't make it so your new main is now 85 and your old main drops to 80... that would be a disaster. If your main is above 80 and you switch, it should be dropped down to 80. Reason? If you hate your main so much why are you 80+ on it....
Hope that OL can be a sub.. a friend of mine would come back the day after.. after all... he gave up because he wanted to be main on SM(80) and sub on OL(78-79).

I'd guess that if you want to switch main and sub, you have to be careful NOT to lvl your old main beyond level 80. I predict that one of the restrictions of this pay service will be "old main cannot be over 80, and you cannot have skills which are higher than lvl 80" (i.e. delvling won't work). So if your main now is 81+, you simply won't be able to switch main/sub.
Awesome news, the next great service I'd personally like to see is the ability to transfer one character on your account to another. Myself as well as friends would really be happy to see this in the future.

Dont forget the one saying you cannot sub if you are Overlord or Warsmith.
We cant sub your class? You cant have it as sub :D
It's good that it is a paid service and not another event. Last time, I spent the whole time wondering "should I do it or not" (hovering with the mouse cursor over the "do it" button a few times), and then it was too late and the event was over >.<
I wonder if it will be "once in the life of your character only" (meaning once you switch, that's it and you can't change your mind again later) - but I guess it will be implemented the same way as the event, so probably yes.
Well i like this new service. Even if i dont have sub and nobless..i am thinking of doing it when i have it. Lets wait for more details :P
NCSoft is banning bots and loosing much money, they need a new way to regain that lost money so this event just comes in time! xD
The bad thing is that you can pay with real money to correct or change choices that you did once. Yes its hard to reroll a character because of the fact that you are unhappy with your name, class or server.
The identity of the characters can be whiped out through a nestled server jump and name change and now even class change.
When are we suposed to be able to buy adena and gear for real money via payed services.. or why not buy a 100-pack of Vita-pops? Guess that will be available soon too ><
Well, its just my opinion. I just dont se any changes done ever to make it more easy to play the legit way.
No? then why we have those NPCs everywhere? there is a reason for it and we will see it on gracia 2.3 for sure.
same reason we have the other NPC next to the guard captains. that is to say, no reason. That npc in Korea is related to playing from an internet cafe, it serves no purpose at all for us, but it's still there. Currently the dimension merchant thing is the same, and it will probably stay that way, or they'll remove it entirely. I doubt we'll get anything from it.

Yup, those dimensional merchants are (afaik) the npc from which Korean gamers get their bonus items (the stuff they get when they buy certain amounts of game time, like the horse, the self-res item etc). Since we do not have those payment options here, those npc are useless to us. I think the "devs" here for our servers cannot simply remove those NPC, so the best thing they could do was to change the dialogue to some "Hi, I don't do anything" text.
This is not like the fortresses, which were in game in Korea and on our servers one whole expansion before they actually worked - these NPC were already active in Korea when they played the expansion we have right now, they were deliberately disabled on our servers because we do not have the same payment options Korean players have.

I think those dimensional merchants has something to do with the teleport button in our action window.

We will get something with this NPC since gracia 2.3 have many new pets and stuff which are introduced with it. I cant imgaine that we dont get all this stuff in any way.

So you don't have any idea about the massive list of others things we haven't gotten that korea has?
Not holding your breath is probably the best suggestion.
Like the one in the title? :p
Korea had that since 2.2 as far as I'm aware. The ONLY reason we get it in the first place is because a lot of people are literally telling the marketing people they are willing to throw money at them if they bring it back.
If your main is a WS and you subbed something else, then in using this service, you would not have "subbed" WS. Who would have known, starting the game new, that there is no reason to level a WS past craft level 9 and they get no useful (as in being in a group useful or being able to solo and level useful) skills. They should permit this to all players or none since it is a paid "service".

There should be an exception in place which allows people to change their main from a disallowed class to a sub, but definitely not allow new subs to be created in these classes.
It is a tad unfair for those who level WS's etc and create subs.
