now I never have the extra cash to this and I much rather someone there to talk to because talking to yourself is crazy....

but I do admit it is hard to lvl when You get higher without any buffs and is harder when ppl kill you because you are in the botting spot....

but really why do ppl do it do you really understand the buffer/healer when you use it that way or are you just dragging it along just for the extra buffs...

Are there any live buffer/ Healers out there any more?

theres a plethora of reasons why its good to do, and again a plethora of answer to your question.

theres a lot more live healers and buffers than you probably know; many who box DD archetypes to exp their healer class.

most, however, simply drag around a buffer of adequate level for proper buffs and leave the buffer out of party so they can level fast. we wont go into how the buffer got its levels suffice it to say the obvious it was never intended to go further than a certain level for its buffs.

but a lot of people would far rather a live healer/buffer; for good reason. live support means you can o into harder places, or places where the risk is greater. live healers make all play activities interesting as they can obviously make a exp session more secure, and during pvp time can provide a far more useful asset than simple buffing.

there are people opposed to the idea of boxing, citing it as a form of cheating; to them we simply show the middle finger and sneer in their general direction. it is NOT illegal despite what non-eula citations of anecdotes they may provide you with (like buying a gun - before you try to create a link between the two lets just point out the argument is a non-sequitur to begin with. this should save your brainpower)

a better argument would have been "i dont like having a black president. that makes him illegal"

clearly boxing isnt a bad thing. clearly a level headed president is also not a bad thing. neither is illegal.
I used to loath the idea of dual-boxing. Now I dual-box with a in-party prophet and her wolf because I value efficiency during the couple of hours game time I have on week nights.

Call it excuse if you wish, but I never take her to parties (poor girl). She is a mean for me to play "solo," but she stays at home when I get out there with friends and/or clanmates.

I mostly box because i mostly prefer solo play. At least up to 68 so far anyway. I keep expecting to have to party to get better exp but everytime I group its slower experience than as a solo duo.
When I say I prefer solo, i mean i prefer to pick my own spots, hunt the way I want to and not have to chat with anyone. When i'm feeling social i play one character with my clan. Sometimes its a healer but mostly its my DD main.

Can i play a buffer/healer as well as someone who has one as their main. Not at all, i simply don't have the practice and its pretty obvious when I try to use her as the main healer in a group. My buffer/healer is just there to assist my main's leveling. I group the healer with my scavies to level her.

As for live healers there are quite a few people i know who play them live as main characters.

I have to agree that I am a solo player as well. I do have an SE but she is cgrade and waiting for my main to be able to sub. I had her with my main when the main was working on the 3rd class change-700 mobs. She was in party but because of the difference in lvls she was not getting any xp. She was there for buffs and to rid my main of the dratted poison. Lol, most of the time I forgot to give main her VR as it was not in the macro for melees.

I do like to party, however I also like to find spots that I have leveled all my toons at, repetitive maybe but I still chat in vent. However, with the amount of time it takes to level at sgrade I may be more inclined to party than before.
Personally I dont like the idea of boxing. MMORPGs are a role playing game (duh), wich means we are suposed to pretend we are someone. And I mean SOMEONE, not MANY ONES :D.

Altought I agree that is harder to lv alone, is much much much more fun to lv in groups with live healers and supports. Thats the way it should be: 1 account per user. But, as we all know, since money talks, as long as we pay for every account, its ok for NCSoft...

*NCSoft says: $$$PAY ME MOAR!$$$$* :D
My sub is a Cardinal and its great.

Well... other than getting tons of pms when I am playing a different sub asking for a high rez...

and having trouble finding a party when I want to play the healer...

and being responsible for every death in a party because "you suck at teh healing"...

and.. welll forget it.

Other than that stuff, I love my Cardi
Before newbie buffs it was very difficult and slow to lvl a toon without a buffer. Now you can get 63 easy with newbie buffs. At that point you either have to be in a clan with a clanhall (I was lucky in that), or find a friend with a boxed buffer, or start lvling one yourself (if you did not do it earlier).
It is true live buffers are very rare (on Sayha I know Harkon, who plays mostly his sub and Stellochka, the SE hero).
Healers you can find more easily either as mains, or as subs, or as secondary toons, which play often. I myself have a 64 bishop, which I use in some raids.
Boxing a healer is much more difficult than the buffer, since you have to switch windows all the time.

Forgot to say, that although I have not played with Jodi in some time, I love her cardi too:)
i take my ring off too!;)

bad bel! :p
well I dont wanna waste my time for calling party 1 hour and actuly hunting ends in 20mins LOL ( i remember AL hunting period like 4 years ago)

......I think party is useless .....unless there is like 200000% of bonus rewards like EXP, drop, and so on

PPLS are selfish, they dont want bounty hunter for plvling party , they dont want prophet, warcrier, dominator in 1 party ?? why ?? efficitent is sucks...

.......with all the facts.......why i should put my energy to make good adjusted party??? i rather go for hub fields......LOL
