there is a brainless hero in franz named "Kat3rin1" who has been shouting in hero voice almost 24 hours per day every day inapropiate words in greek (i am a greek also so i know what he is saying)
this behavior is getting very tiresome and anoying is there any kind of action (chat ban??) or something that can be done about it?? after all this is againts the game rules (other than just put him in my ignore list with all my chars)
even though i put him in block list i am still able to see his junk chat...grrrr... i dont want to turn off hero voice cause it is helpfull considering trade..
Heroes on Devi are ******ed..and greek.. but at least they aren't cursing enough to annoy people. You can see a "malaka" or a "poutsa" now and then.. but that's about it.
But hey, You are not the only one...Teon is full of hero kids too. Without friends and no work in real life. They think they are something superior and talk to you like trash and spam many times the hero chat to make some bad inapropiate talking...so nothing new to me. Its just a shame that our servers got kids like those as heros....
So basically I can use any language(exept english) to violate EULA and they won't do a ****? This should be corrected...
practically yes. Because either A) the GM's are too lazy to check it or B) doesn't get reported.
Technically the EULA covers any language cause it doesn't specify any. (and as any other case, NCSoft has "reserved the right to ban on it's sole discretion")
Same thing happens in bartz, some 15 year old kids shout using bad language in Greek on hero channel. I'm Greek also and it's very annoying, they must find a girlfriend, boyfriend,a dog or a life, imo.

I've had hero spam off for about 2 years, and I havent missed it.
In my opinion heroes should be closely monitored, as I recall, heroes were originally meant to be examples for the rest of us... now if we are to follow the current heroes as examples, we'd rapidly lose braincells and our mental capacity would be like that of a 5 year old or a in some cases that of a braindead vegetable.
Most of the current heroes (on any server) have done nothing to earn their status, instead they cheated their way to where they are now, making a really bad example for the other players. It wouldnt be the first time that a 14 year old kid descides to use daddies creditcard to cheat in this game, only because he thinks it will help him reach his goals to become a "hero". The sad thing is, thats exactly how heroes are made... that 14 year old kid has more chances of becoming a hero with his dads money then a 26 year old guy with a job, limited game time, who has been working really hard to finally become noble in a legit way.
The current heroes, will only lead to more unlegit kiddies swarming the server. Which leads to more economical instability, and more bots.
So in my opinion either heroes be monitored very closely, and banned imidiatly if they are found to be "unlegit" or trashtalkers, or remove the hero shout entirely. Ofcourse "hero" will still be the ultimate goal for little kids, but atleast it will become less tempting.
