Hello, are there any clans on this server that do not allow their members to "play silently?"
I've looked so far and most of the larger clans on server I have found in the catacombs afk botting.
Also I am looking for clans that aren't in alliances where the other clans bot. If they bot you might as well be doing it yourself (Because YOU reap the rewards during sieges).
I recommend them also, good clan. 5th are cool too.
IS/Figz/PC are good too, but since you've noticed someone botting in our alliance then I guess we're off your list. Maybe next time a quick PM/Mail to their clan leader wouldn't hurt as not all CL's are fully aware of any botting going on.
KronicKillaz does not bot. Their leader Schmoke will boot anyone they catch botting. As well as break formal alliances with botting clans.
hmm good to know; maybe i should tell him to keep an eye on someone's toons in his clan .... :eek:
EOF is a good clan as well. OverLordFear will boot anyone that bots and we have the alliance that knows if someone is seen botting a SS is taken and then shown to the leaders of the DT Alliance.
I also agree on KronicKillaz being NOT bot-friendly. I remember hearing a couple of weeks ago that they kicked out a member who they found out had been botting. They seem fairly active, doing fort sieges on a fairly regular basis.
I heard that the leader of DeadCanDance (DCD) has a reputation of not permitting botting in his clan either. Note that since many of DCD's mains joined Fignutz several months ago, DCD is now largely filled with DCD's alts, so they are not as active as they used to be. But you still see some around now and again.
Speaking of Fignutz, I think they also has a decent reputation on this regard.
I also heard a few good things about PeaceCorps. (Admittedly, I was a little surprised to see a red named PeaceCorps member yesterday.... I thought they were largely PVP pacifists, so seeing a red name in their ranks seemed out of place).

Peacecore... not corps lol. And yea, we're normally only red due to killing bots or getting involved in a war which has spread from our alliance to our clan.
Was it an elven mage you saw red by any chance? :D
And it is horrible at the same time... I seen someone who was botting who got killed and had autoo rez on lol I sorry but seeing him kiled over 3000 times was hillarious but said at the same time.
There is also those who force log themselves so they don't die when they bot... watch out for them sometimes they are just watching their screen... then they like to start clan wars because u force logged them..

If you are going to nail out botters as being bad on a clans rep b/c the clan reaps the rewrds in a siege, then I hope you also point out that selling ANYTHING in giran is also supporting bots. Because the people who buy your items also get their adena from bots, or get the mats from what they crafted to sell, from bots. Or have been in a clan where somebody either bought adena, was given adena or items, or made a trade with somebody who did any of that, with a bot or a bot-supporter.
The only way anybody can claim to be 100% legit it to create their own spoiler and spoil EVERY mat themself, then craft what they want in their OWN craft shop (because other dwarves make their money off of botters as well, therefore tainting their own legit status).

Come to think of it, any clan that shows up on a siege field has botters in it, or has people who support botters. Botting has unfortunately become "acceptable" in the regard that most people don't care about it anymore. It keep the economy in check and sadly fills in where live players don't want to (spending endless hours farming for mats and items).
I'm not saying botting is right, but if anybody here thinks they can climb on a high horse and pretend to be 100% legit, you're all wrong. Hell, I bought 200'000 ag soulshots this morning, do you really think the dwarf that was selling them got ALL the crystals and soul ore purely by selling to players who do not bot? Of course not. As such I supported somebody who supports bots, but I need soulshots too. Welcome to the wonderful world of Hypocrisy.
All of that being said, check out some of the smaller clans who are for the most part inactive and have less then 5 nightly players. That's your best bet to find a "pure" clan.
Or you can rethink your definition Bestial and just look for a clan that doesn't want botters in it's ranks and kicks them out. Instead of saying "that clan had a botter once, I won't join them". Up to you Hypie ;)
I have personally seen my clan leader go red on a someone in clan that was botting and while still freshly red boot his *behind* from the clan.
