Hey all leveling up my rogue and going Hawkeye looking for tips afs I havent played a HE before and I am new to the server i am creating it on (Very low funds) so any fund saving advice or skill saving advice for my sp would be helpful <3
Hmm , when you hit 40 , or before you hit 40 , use dagger , it consumes less soulshots till lvl 52 when B grade bow consumes less mana , and only 3 soulshots per shot.
Now you use like 10.
If you dont have money you should better do all class change quests , to get yourself alot SP/EXP , they arent so hard and long as they look. But if you wanna do the short one , at lvl 39 in Blacksmith shop in Giran you can do the quest , but you need 3kk for all three marks.
So start all normal class change quest , to get Dimensioal Diamonds and sell them , you should get around 2kk-3kk.
Hmm if you already have some marks and you do the short quest , you will still need 3kk at first but later you will be repayed if you already had any marks.
If you had 1 , you gonna get 1kk back , and so on.
At 40 make a quest at grocer Helvetia in Giran to get a mysterious cubic , which gaves random pieces of enchant scrolls which can be exchanged at warhouse freightman or sold to normal players. Rough pieces= enchant armor scrolls
Fine pieces= weapon enchant scrolls
Like Zylo said, use a dagger till you hit 52. A bow will both, slow your leveling speed down and consume more money than the dagger.
I tried it on my new HE which is 50 now. The dagger works wonders!
If you want to save SP you should not get any dagger masteries or dagger attack skills. You may as well save the SP for the Accuracy toggle skill though I like it somehow.
For regular PvE you don't need the Toggle Skill Vicious Stance. This consumes a lot of mana if turned on and as a bow user you do need mana to knock arrows.
If you do use that skill and you do Raid Bosses, be sure to turn it on after the Boss is at about 75%, even with a dagger you might get unlucky and the boss will hit you cause you critted too often and too hard.
Don't use attack skills on bows too often, they're quite expensive mana wise. Try to only go for overhits.
If you can't avoid it, then use the bow skills.
Remember to do your Kama once per day, preferably the one around your level with other people of your level. They give some good drops you might use or sell.
You might level a dwarf to 20 to crush D-grade Common Items. That way you get some more money in.
Remember that you get Exchange Coupons, you can use them before buying the real thing. This might save money at first.
You could use the Plated Leather set till A-grade, Doom Light set is quite expensive, especially the helmet. Zubei is a bad alternative because it only has +4 Evasion as a set bonus. Plated Leather has +4 Str which gives you +8% P.Atk.
Unlike Zylo said you should actually not beg anyone of money. Most people find it annoying and the majority got their funds by buying/selling/crafting stuff.
You could start off with Fishing to get some money. Don't try the DSS-market. It's not worth it. Income is very low unless you have enormous quantities. Better try on C- B- or A-grade shot market. You might as well try the S-grade shot market out but be warned, those shots are expensive, you need quite some starting money for that!
Last but not least, pick up everything your killed mobs drop. If you save it up until level 40 or so the No-grade and D-grade recipes and key materials are worth around 200k adena at the NPC. Keep in mind to not sell any other materials to the NPC.

.
Hmm read my post again carefully , i said rather not do that , i did it only once and player gave me 20kk but thats my luck.
You're not screwing yourself, but it will take you a little bit longer then until you can get other skills. Though if you die every now and then you might negate this.
There is as well a Quest in Gludio where you can earn yourself SP. It's an easy one.
Execution Grounds is a good place until you hit 37. You could as well go into a cata/necro to grind there with some friends.
At lvl 37 you may go to the Plains of the Lizardmen near Oren or any other good place for you to hunt (stay away from mobs which have resist/greater resist to your weapon).
I usually stay at the Plains until about 44ish or so and then move on to the next spot.
