I'm in the process of equipping my FS again, but i cant decide on a few things.
So i have a couple of questions.
1. Whats your preferred weapon?
I know a blunt will be best for sure for pvp to use our skills, but what about normal hunting, would a sword w/focus be better?
2. What did you enchant spoil with?
Im thinking the reduced earth defence and then using a weapon with 150 earth element would be very good.
Or reduced HP, but im not sure how much it actually reduces the HP with, or how often it lands.
There's alot of posts about what to enchant spoil with, but i havent found any after we got the new enchant rutes.
i don't know enough about fs enchants to tell you about that but the best PVE weapon you can get is a HD with focus, it will lower you attack speed using a 2 hander and in party as a spoiler you might be better off with a shield and 1 hander so i might actually suggest a FB with focus
The theory that a focus sword does more dps than a blunt is a C4 or earlier problem. With the passive blunt boosts a blunt with focus is way more damage than a sword. If you want damage, get a focus blunt. Since you're probably S grade you'll want element instead, so unfortunately you're stuck with health vr or hp regen until s80, but still more damage than a focus sword.
However, with that said, I prefer to use a sword or dagger on my spoiler for the simple fact that i'm used to my WS and I will waste my mp on stunning by habbit. This, however, is user error, and I'm never a DD in groups I'm spoiling for, so w/e doesnt matter.
As for enchanting, if you want damage go the earth one, if you dont land spoil go chance.
what blunt boosts are you talking about? O.o
all we got is blunt mastery which is a 50% chance to increase stun rate and decrease mp cost on a crit and master of combat which also increases sword pattack
i don't think you could even argue that a sword has more dps unless you are spamming the hell out of skills and buffed with near zero crit buffs
I'm building my Basalt BattleHammer. What would be better - a red crystal for HP Drain, or blue for HP Regen? I've had green (health) on my blunts in the last, and don;t think I want that this time. Thanks.
