What's Better: HP Drain or HP Regen

I'm building my Basalt BattleHammer. I can't believe that these two enhancements are the same. One must be better. Any opinions?
HP drain is actually 3% vr which is nice but having said that vr is a pve skill and i really wouldn't use a blunt on a dorf for anything but pvp
really wish some of the higher blunts had focus or haste but until then i'd always have to recommend health ><

i don't know the exact numbers on regeneration but considering how regen usually works in L2 i'd say it'll be about as effective as walking around with a conversion homu
Go health because it helps you in most situations.

After I enchant my skills for HP regen (hopefully it does something) I may switch to hp regen if it has enough of an effect.

Very very doubtful though

I'm more worried about staying alive when my HP get low - thus better HP regen than high HP to begin with. If I get hit by 3-4 mobs at once, having better HP regen to give you time to BSOE is a big help.
If you are hunting mobs that drop pots then you will get better heals than if you had just hp regen.

If you are in a group then you should have a healer, if that is a bishop then their % heal will be more effective.

Do you know how much per tick the hp regen SA adds?

Currently my hp regen is around 31 per tick without any enchants
i'm gonna go ahead and assume it's the same as regeneration buff since noone i know of has tested it

Well... How much is that? LOL!

I see that getting an S-level enchant is a pain... Gotta find the frigging Blacksmith of Mammon...
just go find a PP to buff you regeneration and check it out but trust me you won't be impressed
What do you think dwarven mains...

If you had the decent hp regen and skill enchants, what is the max hp regen you can get?
After 79 I'll be testing this theory... I figure with the buff/weapon/auguments/skill enchants maybe get 100 per tick?
