Exactly. The last time that they said Top A, they meant, "Top A in the game at the time that the event was devised years ago." You could get a DLE, but not a Sirra's Blade; a Soul Bow, but not a Shyeed, etc. I'm hoping that they truly mean Top A this time.
Not that our chances of getting any of these items has improved. I'll be happy with a few EWS and S grade armors.
Either way, good job rolling out the events, one after the other. We're moving in the right direction.
1. Hunt mobs as usual for event drops, hand 'em in and get itamz.
2. Transform into Spam bait for 10 minutes (per 12 hours per account), head to WoW land and hunt treasure chests for moar itamz!
The Santa event gets my vote for that honor, followed by a tie between the Raid Boss and the Lineage II Olympics events. But this one has a chance to break the top 5, depending on the drop rates.
Santa event was VERY fun. But I loved the first bunny event because it was a new thing, Fantasy Isle was still new and running around as bunnies and opening chests was fun.
I'm looking forward to this one again, it was one of my favorite events ever! And I can't wait to discover whether those agathions have some vit skill... I'm tired of 0 vit all the time -pouts-

I wont get any s grade armor, enchants, or scrolls, and probably not even a grade enchants :s but! I love fruit cocktails! I still have a 5th place sack from last time, and now i get more! :)
PS: I really would like to have a perminent bunny transform scroll, that would just be awsome :D

They're an hour-long buffset, divided into mage buffset and fighter buffset. Basically, you drink a cocktail and get like a full mage/fighter buffset, but they're not the max effect. They're all effect 2 if I remember well.

Nope. They're overwritten by higher "normal" buffs, actually.
And I kinda lol'ed at the free ports too lol.... I'm wondering if they're making more "port points" to different parts of the Isle, but I don't think so :D
There are two cocktails, fruit cocktails had level 1 mage buffs like acumen, zerk, btb, bts, wm, clarity, and i think shield and empower but I overwrote empower shield and conc with my SE anyway. I forget what the melee ones were called. Lasted an hour long, really really helped me exping since I couldn't easily get zerk and had to pop acumen pots/scrolls otherwise.
they were effect 2, or effect 1 if the buffs only had two levels. I believe btb and bts were effect 3.
They were good, yeah.
Oh! And just a reminder to those that weren't around for this event. If you get a treasure sack that has those cocktails and you have a bunch of them, transfer the SACKS to an alt. Once you open, the cocktails are bound to the character that opened and can't be transfered/sold/freighted.

Kinslon or HGMSpam can you please tell us if you fixed the issue with this event that we had last time.
If you aren't familiar with the bug I will fill in the blanks for you:
In some casses (quite often) there where several "chest spawners" at the same location so when you used the skill to revial the chests you didn't just spawn 3 chests, but you spawned 6, 9, 12+ chests that all stacked in eachother making it imposible to target the special firework chest unless you got extremely lucky clikcing on the right chest (I think I lost 10 firework chests or so like that).
So please tell us that it's fixed, if not then I will for sure not partisipate in a bugged event.
Yup those fruit cocktails are **** nice - you get one hour focus 2 and dw2 from them, which is better than ch buffs - and 1 hour empower/zerk/clarity/acumen is also nice for nuker soloing. I still have around 30 cocktails of both types, but used them very rarely recently because I did not know if we would get this event back again. Guess it's time to fill up my wh again with those buff potions :)
and we all know not to open the 5th place sacks until we actually need to now that we know they *won't* be removed like originally said and will sell for 10+ mil for each sack after the event.
also, i was lucky and actually got an IC helm from this event last time...i really need a stage 13 this time around, though.
hmm..and again no vita event...this event looks nice yes...but i dont think its that much worth again...because all i will get is d or c grade enchants for sure! But well..i like suprises..maybe this time its better :)

Wow..so i can hunt 24h + every 12h of it 10min in FI hunting tresures? looks good..but also smells like valetine event drop rate so i just will sell the stuff i automaticly farm during grinding xp ^^,
Last time, I made like 80m selling treasure sack pieces lol... drop rate was really good and I was leveling my Bounty Hunter AoEing in catacombs at the time.
This time since I'm not desperately in need of money, I'll just open the things :D
The event sounds nice..since you hunt mobs when ur xping and you can use the tranformation in Fanta island and have the same event but with difrent play style for 10min which maybe is better in the drop rate. As i sayed, i just hope that this time the drop rate is better! lets all forget the last event can we? ^^

In theory, but in that case, when the three chests spawn, you can have each friend on one of the chests. It's more fun that way. And in case a firework chest pops up, at least you know that it was a friend that got to open it instead of you.
Cause chances are that if you open a chest, and then a firework one appears, your skill won't have cooled down in time to open that and it will simply get lost.
The thing i love about this event is that it is a copy/paste from the last rabbit event we had. I noticed becuase it says "During this event, Fantasy Isle residents will be visiting every city to provide free teleports for all to Fantasy Isle." this can be done today from normal gatekeepers. :D
Although they don't sell the transformation scroll. :p

This should be changed because everyone agree that from that part mostly benefit bots.
Suggestion no.1: similar to GK event, get a hour buff from NPC and only during this buff you can get event items.
Suggestion no.2: non-transferable shadow item (1h) similar to manor harvester, which can be applied on dead monster for event item retrieval

Transformation into rabbit:
- 10min is too short, better 15min.
- it would be nice that box areas will be some how marked, or maybe fireworks visible even by not using "magic eye" skill. This is because first transformation usually is lost for find out normal spot.
- tornado skill reuse time imho was too long. IIRC it was ~30s, should be shortened to 20s - will not be possible to use on same treasure boxes group spawn, but you will be ready for just next respawn.
does it seem to anyone else that if you get either of those you win L2? O.o
Annoying though that you cannot get attribute stones from the 2nd place sacks anymore (if they did not miss that part when they did their copy&paste thing). Would have liked a few wind stones. But I guess a EWS or a Giants Codex is not so bad, either...
Who designed this event? Long long ago I remember we had to swim to FI... But now, everybody can port from the cities to FI for free, like MDT/MRT. No need for such FI-teleport-NPCs ;)
I think this was one of the best events L2 events. It was a blast watching all the rabbits running all over fantasy island looking for treasure chests.
A few things I remember about the event form last time.
1. The event periods were from 6pm central time frame friday until 6pm sunday. During the event period the pieces would drop and you could transform into a bunning at fantasy island.
This time the event period is 24 hours a day for a week so there should be alot more time to collect the pieces and do the bunny transform and hunt treasure chests.
2. The drop rates from mobs was pretty good and you could easily get enough per hour to make 1 or 2 treasure sacks. Of course that was during prime time hunting periods.
We all know there will be tons for sell within hours of the event starting. Just remember they only make adena if you buy them. If you do decide to buy some buy them from players you know or from toons who are not always setting in Giran with hundreds of hard to get items for sell. Also wait a day or two for the prices to come down after the market is flooded. To many people jump on the items when they first show up and spen 10x what they are really worth.
3. Fantasy island and the transform scroll.
First thing is to get WW buff you will get around faster as a bunny. The transform is only 10 minutes so run to where you want to search before transforming. While you are searching look for chat bubbles you will be able to see the treasure chests talking but you can't see the chests. Once you use the skill to see the chests they will spawn in a group of 3 you have about 5-10 seconds to kill one of the chests, wait a second or two to see if one of the chests sets off fireworks. Nothing worse than killng a chest right away and then seeing another chest shoot off fireworks. From each normal treasure chests I would get 3-5 treasure pieces. From the treasure chests that shot off fireworks I got 6-8 treasure pieces and/or a agaithion. I never got an A grade wep from the bunnies. In a ten minute period it is easy to get 30-40 treasure sack pieces.
4. Last time the 2nd place sacks had elemental stones and no agathions. I'm hoping the just switched it and have the stones dropping from the treasure chests instead of the Agathions.
5. If I remember correctly so many people got IC and Majestic helms that they were selling for 30mil ea. Same with the divine stones they dropped all the way down to 20mil ea.
I do wish they would remove C grade and below enchants from rewards in events since the market is already flooded with C and C enchants. Anway this was a really fun event and I hope they don't nerf it like they do most re-run of events. Good thing is it should make my server a bit more active next week.

conclusion: if its like I said then we get S armor 8.5% for every 50 event items
Collect Maximum about 700 event items and S grade armor is yours!!!! WOOOW
When did you see NCS random % being equal ? I bet is something like lvl 6 pauches 45%, lvl 5 25%, 4 15%, 3 8%,2 5% lvl 1 2% or something.
Just some random numbers as example above i don't know any thing more then any one else.

Nonononooooo, i want that they restore some vit! for what stones which we can always get? Also they aint gonna change rewards. Just hope the drop rate isnt like the last event.
man i want high event drop rates, i want to be able to actually get some rewards, low event rate only help farmers who are on 24/7 wile i play 3-5h max/day. So make event drop on every mob so the event items to be worthless:D

And i want to have just some more luck on that event! For what i need buff scrolls or EWD EAD? omg -_-' We are not C1 - C3 anymore. Probably to get a better sack is so hard that you will never get it :D

You can be sure that 1st grade sack will have a chance like 1/55 000 to get it :)

from past experiences, I'm sure that getting a higher grade sack has a lower probability than getting a lower grade one...
i got me a first place from the last one and i only turned in for like 30 sacks...it was right when i came back to l2.

I wouldn't mind getting a few Dark stones so I can finally work towards an Arcana Mace... the only reason I haven't bothered with an Arcana Mace yet is cause I have absolutely no way to afford dark stones, so I'm better off with my +3 SoM with Acumen, that has only 17 less matk than a clean Arcana Mace.
The only way for an Arcana Mace to be worth it for me is if I can put Dark element on it, but I'm not THAT rich. Getting a few Dark Stones from the event would be REALLY neat.
val, if you can make the s bsps yourself, getting an AM and putting one stone on it will up your damage significantly. s bsps are just too expensive if you don't have your own warsmith.

Do the hellbound quest to get the 6 stones and trade weapons/armor so exchange the stones you aren't planning on using. Obviously you'd only want to do this with people you trust but it's a good way to up your element quickly. Also, I offered my alliance 10 mil for their wind stone and an additional 10 if it succeeds. You could also ask for collateral from them while they are putting the stone on your weapon... but assuming you have same reputation in game as you have on the boards I'm sure you have a few people you could trust with this. A very easy way to get much cheaper stones.

That's exactly what I am talking about, Sere. The only way for me to even get an Arcana Mace is when I can afford the dark stones (especially because the AM is a blunt, without the Dark Stones, I'm better off with my +3SoM because of the blunt damage variation). I cannot afford dark stones at this point. Not even one. A clean AM (without acumen) goes for 270m on my server. A divine stone goes for like 30m (and that's not counting the failure possibility).
I could afford a clean AM and 1 stone, and providing the stone is successfully applied on the AM (and I'd be left without acumen too, cause I simply can't afford the SA), I'd be left without any money for shots. Crafting them isn't an issue, I could buyshop S crystals and use the many Craft shops that can be found in Aria. But at this point, I can't afford it. I'll be looking at an AM when I have enough money to guarantee at least one successful dark element "point" to the weapon. If not, I won't really bother. It's not worth it without the elements because of the blunt damage variation.

Problem is, I don't. We're all casual PvE players, and there aren't many people around my level, let alone 78. And I'm not 78 yet, I'm 75, half way to 76. Been soloing most of my levels too, so that's not an option. Don't know many 7x people on the server either, I tend to be a little anti-social sometimes (for good reasons).
I AM perfectly capable of solong IoP on the front part (although it's FAR from being effective exping...), but those are Fire stones. They do me nothing except perhaps generate more profit.

One thing you may want to think about then is attempting to get level 5 alliance with varka/ketra. Once you get to level 5 you can get s grade armor recs most of which would give you more adena than it would take to do one dark stone attempt (with possible exception of major arcana depending on prices on your server) I'd also suggest having 4+ characters level 40 or higher and doing the cube daily. Eventually you are bound to get a fine white which is a profit of 30-50+ depending on your market.
I don't know if you have buffers but on my StS (slightly higher matk than a necro) with an AM+3 with around 40-50 dark you can cdl 1 shot the mobs in northern blazing swamp and that will let you xp much quicker from 76-78 (most blue at 78 so need to probably move then) I had a pp and se with me to do that, you'd need at least zerk 2, btb 5 and emp 3. Some of that at least you can do yourself if you got a SoES and can buy emp 3 scrolls from events.
Also note, your first success makes your weapon go to 20 of the element and then it goes down to 5 for each of the rest so the first success is huge.
Hehe I have 11 wondrous cubics, and so far I got many fine whites. That's how I was able to afford my Major Arcana robe set. I do have the tendency of not selling stuff I'm no longer using, so I should perhaps try and sell a couple of stuff I have to try and make some money. It might take a little while though.
As for the alliance, I truly hate that place. I did the quest for my 3rd class change quests and I swore I'd never go back there.
The only buffer I have is my SE. I use him and pop Greater Magic Haste potions for the acumen. I've been leveling in HS now... If the difference in damage is already that huge for even just one element, I might try and sell some equip I won't be using to get enough money for a clean AM and 1 Dark stone.
I'll still be lacking Acumen though.

Just use the WS's in Giran that charge less than 1 adena per shot for the craft....even the ones charging 10 adena per shot on the craft is way cheaper than those that sells for 200-500 adena profit per shot.

Cause the chests have a chance to spawn a firework chest, that can drop you (if you're lucky to enter the korean random) a top A grade weapon.
And generally you used to get like 6-7 pieces per chest too.

I have to admit, the Santa event made me really cynical of NC's event prizes. I mean, did anyone get that +10 A grade weapon??? If all the players opening all their stockings on all the servers could not produce a single one of these so-called prizes, then you can bet that we are not going to see any of these S-grade gear prizes either.
I really do like Lineage 2 alot. And I usually defend the game, even when most of my other friends have moved on to other MMOs like WOW or whatnot. But I have to admit, I think the whole Santa event's "+10 A grade weapon" farce was truly the first time I felt that NC should be ashamed of themselves.
One of my friends thinks it was just a scam by NC, making false claims of elusive prizes, in order to boost year-end player-usage statistics. Others I know think it was just incompetence on part of the programmers.
I, for one, don't know what to believe. I would like to think that the +10 permanent A grade was, in fact, a truly viable and available gift, and that it was just pure luck (or the lack of it) that resulted in not a single one of these prizes appearing.... for the combined population of 8 servers.
If not for this rather ugly blemish, I thought the Santa event was nice.
But it did, in the end, make me very skeptical about NC events. It is not like I expect to win one of the top prizes. But I at least expect that someone somewhere should be able to.

assuming you already have lvl 5 ally it will still take you multiple days to get a chance at a single rec as a lowly necro with little to no support and in that time you have to have gotten multiple stones
the last time they did this event, i believe sieghardt got like 20 first place bags or so that i had heard of. farmers probably got a ton but we never know with them since they don't actually play the game.

If you aren't familiar with the bug I will fill in the blanks for you:
In some casses (quite often) there where several "chest spawners" at the same location so when you used the skill to revial the chests you didn't just spawn 3 chests, but you spawned 6, 9, 12+ chests that all stacked in eachother making it imposible to target the special firework chest unless you got extremely lucky clikcing on the right chest (I think I lost 10 firework chests or so like that).
So please tell us that it's fixed, if not then I will for sure not partisipate in a bugged event.
can we get an answer on this matter by any of the GM's please?
Sweet! Last time I got IC helmet, Divine Stone (50mil at the time) and soul crystal lvl 13. Oh and lots of cocktails which I have now just ran out of. Still have most of my juices left over from the event too.
I was disappointed the first time and I doubt that will change just cause the name has changed. There are other far better events that could be repeated.
I have to admit, the Santa event made me really cynical of NC's event prizes. I mean, did anyone get that +10 A grade weapon??? If all the players opening all their stockings on all the servers could not produce a single one of these so-called prizes, then you can bet that we are not going to see any of these S-grade gear prizes either.

But I have to admit, I think the whole Santa event's "+10 A grade weapon" farce was truly the first time I felt that NC should be ashamed of themselves.
One of my friends thinks it was just a scam by NC, making false claims of elusive prizes, in order to boost year-end player-usage statistics.

I, for one, don't know what to believe. I would like to think that the +10 permanent A grade was, in fact, a truly viable and available gift, and that it was just pure luck (or the lack of it) that resulted in not a single one of these prizes appearing.... for the combined population of 8 servers.
If not for this rather ugly blemish, I thought the Santa event was nice.

Santa event was great because of its incredible buff and xmas trees - allowed to exp more faster and efficiently.
"+10 permanent A weapon" - I think it was just misunderstanding between developers/designers (which, I believe, is in Korea) and promoters/communication stuff(which, I believe, is in NA).

I want to say a big txk to NCS team for bringing us 1 event each month, no mater what kind.

i'm just bummed that it's not a st. patrick's event...give out whiskey that you can use like a waking scroll but on yourself or other people and it makes their screen go all wonky for like 5 seconds.

i'm hoping my new computer gets here in time and there's no bios problems when i'm building it...really want to have the 8gb and 512mb gddr3 vid card on the brand new 23" hdmi monitor.
right now i'm on 2.5 gb, 256mb ddr2, on a really old and faulty processor...still rocking out on the big, box dell monitor from like 8 years ago.

The drop rate isnt that bad. Much better than the last event drop rate. The rabit part is a bit fast over. 10min and i just found 3 treasures. Only 4,7 and 6 pieces of sacks. i have 68 sack pieces at the moment. I will see, i will collect as many i can and at the last day sell them or open them all xD
I spent the entire time collecting the sacks. I got a complete set of Codex and sold them all. A few of the EWSs, several EWAs, a bunch of the EWBs and more cocktails than you can shake a cotton tail at.
So at the end of it all I made close to half a billion. Not to mention the massive improvements the cocktails did for my alts grind sessions.
This is such a joyous event the very spirits of Einhasad and Gran Kain sing praise upon all.

Right now I am a proud owner of a complete garbage I got from 3rd grade event sack. What the hell is this? It is not 6th, and no, it is not 5th, and no, it is not even 4th grade sack! It is 3rd grade and I am supposed to get something from it. Instead I got item which is good only to be thrown away in Dion (if there is still someone left)...
So far the buffs I got from 5th and 6th grade sacks are worth ten times the garbage I got from the 3rd grade.
It's "garbage" because back when the event was first done, they were valuable and hard to get. Now with the cubics, A and B grade enchant scrolls are SOOOOO easy to get that it's not even funny.
Life Stones? With the enhanced drop rate, they are ALSO so easy to get.
The only interesting thing on the 3rd sack is the BREZ, but even so... I agree 3rd places should get something a little better.
depending on level and grade.. lifestones can be a pretty good prize. But I dont disagree that these prizes are not as valuable as they probably were when this even was ran however many years ago. Even the price of an EWB on my server is about 1.2m I think? Its better than nothing.
Honestly I'd be pretty ****** about getting an EAD from a 4th place sack... Whos freakin brain dead idea was it to put those as event rewards? they can literally be picked up on the ground in giran from people who didn't want them from cubics...
Wow, this event is nerfed to hell! I get about 1/4rd or 1/5th of the old drop rate. Anyone else notice this? o.O
First time we had this event I farmed around 150 sack pieces per hour at prime. Now tonight I got 34 lol.
got two 2nd place sacks (one from a fireworks chest, one from turning in 50 pieces) and got 1 earth and 1 wind stone. So, not so bad :)
Also, for some reason it seems as if at least today the drop rates were better during euro times. Right after the downtime, I got ca. 20-30 pieces per buff round. Now, late at night (between 1am and 2am euro time) I got far, far less (like 5 per round).
An hour and a half xping around 11pm EST and I got 13 treasure sacks? >.<
First I tried w/ a 41 dwarf thinking that killing 1x hp mobs w/ s-grade fists, I'd plow through them faster and get more drops. I did plow through mobs but only got 11 after 40 minutes. So I switched to my main and got 2 in the next 50 minutes! Ridiculous. >.<
Also, I thought I remembered being able to use the rabbit tornado skill more often. I thought last time I was able to open 2 treasure chests out of the 3 that spawned before they went poof. Now it takes forever and a day for that skill to be ready again. Maybe it was like this last time, I just thought it was faster.

You are experiencing insane variance then since most get WAY less than that.

I was doing AOE in cata on a lowie.. constantly clearing 3 whole rooms... after 1.5hrs, i had 13 sacks (and 5 more lvls, even with a 15 lvl higher wolf with me)... havent been to FI yet, but dont think it'll be much better after reading thru this thread XD...
if you use the bunny right you get 60ish pieces in 10 mins
Yup, I was often getting 11 sacks for picking the firework chest.
If you see 'bump', run to it and search. If you see nothing, search again as soon as it refreshes. Boom.. chests.
If you see 'startled' run there as fast as possible and search.
If you have just used the kick skill, don't move. Wait until the timer has 25% left to recharge then start moving about. If you move around before this you will waste any 'startles' or 'bumps' you get.
I managed 80 something pieces on two toons by doing it this way.
Yes, it is amazing how many people do not seem to understand that the cooldown of the unlock skill is the main problem and that the key to getting many treasure sack pieces is to optimize the usage of that skill, i.e. never have the skill sitting around ready because that wastes possible cooldown time and so also limits how often you can use the skill during the ten minutes.
They open a chest and then run around using the search skill on any "bump" or "startled" they find - and then of course they cannot open the chests, because the unlock skill still has cooldown, and so they have to search for new chests even though a few seconds later the unlock skill would be available. That wastes time.
So run around, look for the messages in white chat, but DO NOT use the search skill until the unlock skill is nearly available again. If you do not find any bump/startled messages, you can also try randomly using the search skill as soon as there are only a few seconds left on the unlock skill cooldown.
Anyone else find it more profitable to just sell the parts? So far I've collected just over 600 and remembering how I never got better than a level 5 sack last year have simply sold them to players. They are going for around 70k on phoenix in buy shops so I've made over 40 mil so far from around 6 hours of grinding and 40 minutes on fantasy island.

Can't enjoy any rewards, after 1 hour and 10 minutes of play I manage to get only 1 sack that with 39 pieces from fantasy island... rest of 11 from hunt...
What rewards ? It's a joke, a bad joke, as most rewards in L2.
And people wonder why some people liked the zaken curse event with pink pig hunt.
There the drop was certain and within 1 hour you could get heaps of prizes easily.... that even if they might not make you uber they were usefull (can never have enough elixirs/cocktails)

4 accounts, about 400 of them came from fantasy island. I just have one auto follow another around and since there are 3 chests and almost no micro it's easy enough to do this. I only get around 30 drops per hour hunting.

I try to run to a corner of fantasy island. Seems most people just stay in the center festival area. Doing that may help some. What I really hate is when one person comes into my area and gets off beat from me which kills the chests we can both open. Just wait the extra 20 seconds so every time we see white chat we can both open one!

yep.. but was letting my main gain some vit whilst trying to farm some rep for clan and even items for myself... by tomorrow night (next plaussible game time for me) my main should be back at lvl 4 vit.. so hopefully will get the sub to 73 and some more event items :D

A maximum of 70 sack pieces can be obtained from 1 transformation scroll. Unlikely thou, to fit things so neatly. You can get close I guess.
This is purely based on the maximum sack pieces I got from 1 chest, that being 7. (this and the other time we had the bunny event, always maximum of 7)
If you got more recalculate from that number considering you can open a chest every 1 minute and you have 10 minutes for 1 scroll.... Elementary arithmetic.

You are 100% wrong about acumen. I was running 2 toons at same time. One I used acumen and the other I forgot to. The one without acumen had the skill reuse timer go much slower. Also there is no maximum... you aren't considering fireworks. This can up the amount you get from a single chest to like 20.

Fireworks just go up for like 2 seconds above the chest. I have only gotten extra event pieces (about 12 extra simply went into inventory) It just will randomly appear with the others. One thing I'd suggest, after using the watch skill wait 2-3 seconds before opening a chest. I had a fireworks one and had already clicked on another chest. A friend of mine got a shadow rideable wolf from a fireworks one and they claim you can get a top a grade weapon from it.

Like was posted above, when you use the skill to see the chests, one (or more) chests will have a small firework going off above them - you cannot miss it. I got a 2nd place treasure sack from one of them.

Using a 46 Destroyer solo.. i earned 14 sac pieces in one newbie buff round and i was killing alot slower than a full botting group. Therefor botting 24/7 = 14x24 = 336 pieces/day

Just to give you a quick update, there was a correction made to the event page. For the 2nd Place Treasure sack, the possible prize of an Attribute Stone was left off the website, so we added it in. And yes, it's been verified in game that its an actual prize players can get ;)

Ok guys, why don't you start posting When ( time, specifying time zone also) you got a good drop rate, so that we can establish when is the best time for hunting.
i'm not defending bots here at all...but it's just a bit late. the damage has been done. the people in power are already 82+ with full epics.
at this point, banning anyone except the actual farmers, who don't even play when they're home, is hurting the rest of us because it's taking away from the people who actually do play. there's just not enough new people coming in.
again...botting is bad, there's no denying that, but start with the actual problem before moving on to the stragglers. besides, which one of us hasn't thanked our warred clans for botting with auto-rez on and farmed a bunch of rep from them??
anyway...back to the topic...if there *is* a primetime that we're just missing, please let us know.
Because I've seen people talk about a prime time for events, I paid a little more attention to my drop rates last night. I noticed I got 1 item in 10 minutes, and right about 6:30 pm cst, they started dropping much faster. Got an item from 3 mobs in a row at one point. But it was pretty sparatic the whole night, it would go cold again and then suddenly a good bit of drops. I was also partied with someone else who was only getting about 1/5 as many drops as me at one point. (we were only in party to talk, not exping together) They were nuking on a low level toon to have more kills, while I was killing x2 hp mobs at HS. At any rate, it sure seemed like the drop rate was just random and not based on the time, or what type of mobs you kill. My opinion after one night of exp. :)
i'm guessing there are no realy big difference in drop becouse of "peak times".
once i got 16 pieces in about 5 minutes (killing 1 hit with mage), and after that i got 1 piece in 1 hour... then again ~ 10 in next 10 minutes.
I'm guessing, there's somehow limited amount of pieces per hour per character (or account maybe?)
thats just my opinion. :P
It seems like the drop rate is slower this time around, but then again it was a while ago, I don't remember that well.
It also seems like you can do the bunny transform more frequently- I seem to remember it being 24 hours last time, but again :P not positive about that.

Honestly, if you time the bunny transformation well, you can get up to 40-50 sack parts, which is basically like a free sack turn-in once per day which is cool =)

I opened the 2nd Place Treasure Sack and got a Scroll of Enchant Armor S. I was a little disappointed, as that's probably the worst thing that comes from 2nd Place Treasure Sacks, but I guess I can't complain.
I've only seen the fireworks one time in about 40 chests though. Guess I'm unlucky with them.
so far I've got a Giant's Codex - Discipline since my main is only 74, i have no idea what to do with it and i don't care to be honest. I've understood that is for enchanting skills or something similar.

LOL i mean this is a great event for earn some extra adena. The first day after maintance the drop rate were GREAT and i were very happy. The next days the drop rate were tweaked down and is like now the valentine event...So I thought of even not trying to open sack 6th grade or change the pieces into sacks because i anyways would get only 6 grade ones... -_-'
So i sold my 300+ pieces and made 24kk which is much better than some mp juices xD And thats only the beginning since i have again more than 100 and the event is more 5 days ^^, The only positiv i can report so far from this event is i got a aghition big wolf for 200 hours. Full equiped.
Also bad news, i saw people selling 3,706 pieces of sacks on the market! THANKS BOTS!!!! stupid money makers -.-'

I do have 1 5th and 1 6th still. I am taking Serelina's advice on the 5th. I totally missed out on the event that gave these last year. I get that it gives you a bunch of juices and have seen them in stores but what are they exactly? Similar to the buff scrolls that Santa gave out? They were the absolute best. It was sick to level with them and the shadow weapons. +16 demon splinters were bloody nice!
I've been trading mine. Only got 6th sacks, but hey... at least I've been lucky to get most clarity and acumen pots (which I use like water, so I'm happy).
Last time on this event I made a lot of money, but I needed money back then. I'm ok now (I do need money but not as bad as I did back then), so I'm going to participate instead of selling the pieces.

I told one of my clannies that he should just sell his pieces since it's so unlikely that he'd get a good drop from a sack. Then I thought that that is normally how MY luck is so joked he would get a wind stone since I am almost finished putting them on my weapon and need a few more. Lo and behold he gets a 2 sack opens it and gets a wind stone. He got 52mil and I got another 5 wind on my weapon :P (he was nice enough to give me a discount under market price, for some reason since this event started people have RAISED the price of wind stones over 10mil from what it was before the event.)
Only 5th and 6th place ones so far :( My buddy got a 2nd place sack on his first try and got an earth stone; he also got a fine white like 2 days after obtaining a wondrous cubic lol. I think I need to bottle his luck and sell it. Btw do buffs effect those bunny skills at all? It didn't seem like it to me, but I didn't exactly check it out thoroughly either.

First 50 pieces traded, got a sack that gave me a shadow agathion... 700 mana, but haven't tested it, since I prefer to wait for someone to give me hints about what it's doing before to waste mana... :greedy: :dwarfblood:
ANd you can't sell it anyway, so you should check the agathion and see if it gives the vit buff. Although I doubt it, since this event is simply a copy and paste from last year...
In the 1st time the drop rate of the pieces was reasonable most part of the day, and rly good around 8pm+(gmt-3) until midnight.
Now the only way to get a good amount of the pieces is in fantasy island.
Killing normal hp mobs i got 1 sack in 20 minutes.
It has become a bot/farmer event.. as they are on 24/7 they still get good amounts. They sell/use pieces, get good stuff and in the end sell all the adena for rl currency for ebayers.
this event lasts for 7 days with drops 24/7 and you can use bunny every 12 hours. last time it was only during weekends and you could turn into a bunny only once every 24 hours.
