New try

Hello there,

the QQ bots thread made me to think about trying again L2 after quitting some months ago... but I'm not sure about it yet.

But anyway, I was thinking about starting at 0 again. I have a 7x SpS and 7x SE on Franz, but I cant say why but I dont want to play the SpS again... maybe her appearance is too annoying to me. Also I would have enough money for new chars if I would sell my DC set and SoM.

Now, I'm looking for a Char thats needed in 70+ parties (one thing that I wouldnt have with SpS, only duo maybe). I was thinking about BD or AW/TH or Tyrant or Destr (yeh Orc race is annoying for me too... the look is important for me). Also I think I should choose a duo which is fast to level to catch up to the endgame.

What duo would you choose? WC + ?
And If you have some arguments that I should continue playing my SpS, go on tell me! :p

I assume you got a male elf then, lol.

As for classes, BD is always welcome in parties, same as daggers as DDs (tho finding parties with BD is a lot easier)

But leveling a BD+WC to 70+ solo takes much longer then dagger, right?

I wouldnt be so sure, since once you get decent dances you will go through mobs without a problem (faster attack speed, higher crit damage and hex)

If you do BD+WC then please get a wolf to level with you. If you make an initial outlay by buying it some gear then it is a good investement as you can sell it later for some nice adena when you start to get nice XP parties at higher levels. With dances and chants it will be cutting through mobs like a hot knife through butter.

If you duo with live WC and both for you have wolves (with gear), thats is:
- WC -> fighters (especially melee) bufs, some crowd control and small heals
- BD -> dances which helps a lot, primary tank in such party, hex some times
- 2 wolves -> very good melee damage dealers!

Simple example (real one): mine 56lvl wolf, with equal buffs and dances do about twice more damage than mine 77lvl BD (no boss jewelry but other equipment is good).

Conclusions make yourself.... :)

All I can say is my Sps (MM now finaly) isn't as feared as he use to be many chronicles ago. He is still fun to play but I definatly need to get that subclass quest done. Time for a change.

As I reactivated my account, I saw that I have a 49 AW and a 4x WC (on 2. acc) on teon with wolf. Now I have to choose...

- 49 AW (not my favorite char..) + WC on teon ? (without help from main char)
- New BD+WC on Teon (without help from my mainchar, bcause I dont have main on teon)
- New BD+WC on Franz (with help from my main char, have some adena there)
- or... playing my SpS+SE to 76 and make sub, unfortunatly I cant go BD with SpS sub :(

What would you pick? Dont know why I cant edit this thread to a poll, would be great.


PS: right now I saw franz is really really dead... ~20 shops in giran and aden°° compared to teon its empty

Franz's Giran 20 shops ? Hmm, you are either lagging or just logged in after some downtime, I always see (yesterday included) hundreds of shops in Giran on Franz.

seriously u should look for a new game

maybe some bots have dissapeared in some areas (rofl) but the ones u will fight on sieges and the ones who will gank u just for fun are still there

there are things like hide net radar automated cp pot spam and the list goes on if you plan to play within the rules u wont have a slim chance at all
yesterday i read a thread on blah about a guy selling multiple s grade weapons over +12 and more sadly he was celebrated like hero on this board

later ingame u will notice that well known clans put there toons into varka or ketra trains with their clan tag on just to bot lvl and overenchant their skills to pwn and brag about it even more
you will see them everyday regardless if you reported them nothing will happen
you will see them on siegefield bragging about how good they r and so on

to make it clear this game is dominated by cheating ebaying and 3rd party software
and the majority of this community supports it in every way

last notice aion is instanced in every way to hide the bots and to keep the complaining
low
