So, I just finished doing the event where you transform into a rabbit. I got three sets of chests with a firework chest. When I tried to open the firework chest, all I got was a few treasure pieces. After the firework chest was opened it looked like a closed chest was still on the spot with an open chest overlapping. What I'm guessing happened is that there was double spawn and that a normal chest was opened instead (or the firework chests are completely bugged out). Annoying once, happening three times, frustrating.
After finishing the time on the scroll I opened a petition and explained in detail what happened. I click on the submit button...255 character limit. So, I cut down and give a small summary that will fit and include "Msg me for details 255 char limit". I submit the new ticket and approximately two minutes later my ticket is closed. The message I receive is, please resubmit your ticket with more details(!!!).
Now what the %^&$ is wrong with NCSoft support that they have enough time to read the ticket and see it needs more details, but completely ignore the fact that I stated in the ticket to message me for more details due to the 255 character limit. Are the customer support employees not aware of the character limit? Are they not trained properly? Maybe they just don't care, prove me wrong NCSoft.
I typically don't submit tickets or post complaints on the forum. But this was so **** aggravating. I just recently returned and had heard that NCSoft support had improved (bad reputation for support in the past).
So, I resubmitted a new ticket. And 10-15 minutes later, no reply. Same number holding ahead of mine as when I submitted the first one. So, I'll probably just be ignored now. Think I'll cut my losses at one month sub and move on if this is how things are run.

Well, frankly, I don't want Spam or Akahige to go to every player that experienced a stacked firework chest (which is half of the population, if not more) and reimburse them those 10 extra pieces that this chest is typically worth. They have more important things to do for the players.

Nope. I found firework chests previously and the fireworks appear a few seconds after the chests pop up.

I would like to be reimbursed the missed drop from the chest, that would be nice. Did I expect it, not really. Is this problem with the chests really that widespread? I hadn't heard about it until I experienced it tonight.
Overall I'm enjoying the event. The major complaint is the horrible support after submitting the ticket.

I know it sounds stupid because you want to use ingame petition and clearly you can't get into details there. But for more complex issues, use the Contact Support (http://help.plaync.com/cgi-bin/plaync.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=214) link, go to Ask a Question tab and explain your issue in full details.
I doesn't mean you'll have a better answer of course. I don't know what they can say to that.
Looks like that those ones can only be opened when you have a friend or somebody else on your side who will open it after you opened the other chest. So maybe it isnt a bug.
I never had such experience oO Anyway it's best to go with 4-5 clannies/friends to this event. 2-3 rabits other 2 is looking for words: Starled; Bumps on the ground :) After our trasnforms expire we change the roles! Always 40-60 sack peaces per transform!

firework chest work only if u open it on time if u delay u get only what it drops or atleast i think so

The bugg is that there sometimes apears more than one spawn point (those NPC's that say "bump" or "startle") at the exact same location.
I tried to get the GM's attention before the event started, but got no reply what so ever...not even from the community manager...
When there is more than one spawn point at the same location it's imposible to target the firework chest unless you are extremely lucky to get it in target since there can be 2 or more chests at the exact same location.

Please don't forget that Aion...a new NC game.... is coming out soon....it will be different with that game... they will have stellar customer support and will enforce the EULAs with great vigor. I'm making sure i tell all my friends that are considering Aion what a bag of fun L2 is ;) I suggest you do the same.

Difrent? Aion is flooded with bots already so its kinda worst in my opinion. No protection at all in the log in just like here. So what is better on Aion? yes, the mega hype they do to answer the WoW market. Yes, Aion is a european like game which is a answer to WoW which is quest based and not grind based. I will test it for a better opinion about the game, but the really hardcore pvp is only here...at Lineage II and it always will be.

Noticed a bug where when I try to open a fireworks chest it says "target too far away, casting has stopped" when I'm sitting right on top of it literally. Real annoying, but working as designed no doubt.
I don't bother with support, I already know the response will be an apathetic one.
Well I have had the same problem. The same thing happen during the last bunny event. So far this event I have had about 15 firework chest and I have been able to open only 2. Now that is frustrating.
Yeah same thing happened last event. I've gotten about 4 firework chests, only one gave a 6th place sack, like I haven't gotten enough of those already. The rest must have been that doubling up thing again because it gave nothing special, like 7 items.
