I realize I'm posting alot, but I've finally settled on this race after a month of playing L2, and now I need help deciding between the 2 paths.
I like SB because it sounds more versatile, and I like the idea of "magical swordsman".
I like Berserker because ancient sword looks beast.
What are the differences in the 2 for pvp/solo/etc? Thanks, and sorry for all the posts. Hopefully this one will take me where I need to go.
Also, where can I go to see pics of how changed weapons will look later in the game? (rapiers and ancient swords) I know it sounds stupid, but if rapiers start to look better down the road, that could be a deal breaker.

IMO it's quite fun to play zerk, and solo exp isn't so hard. You've got some AoE skills so you can try make little trains yo exp a bit faster (but HP of zerk sucks...). And yea Ancient Swords looks great :) cheers ;]
in S grade, the Gram (heaven's divider conversion) is a very lovely and elegant weapon, even better looking than the hero weapon which is somewhat ugly actually. but I think the S rapier Laevatein (forgotten blade) is probably the most beautiful weapon in game imo... either way, both classes are very strong in pvp but the soul breaker is good against all classes (except a good berzerker, ironically); while berzerker has problems beating a few certain classes. PVE/solo the berzerker is a really excellent DD and has no problems xping fast. SB is a bit slower in pve but still good.
