I've got to vote on Rune, only for the sole factor of the warehouse being two seconds away from the Gatekeeper, and the grocery store in short range as well, plus no matter what class you are, skills are all learned in the Temple.
Heine. And it's funny though cause although it's a LE architecture city, it's completely and totally inspired in Venice.

Even the most famous bridge in Venice is depicted there. Gotta love it!
I played a song called carnival of venice
Oh, and my least favorite has got to be Heine. Although it's tied in votes thus far, I'd have to say I hate running from here and there throughout that **** city!
I was going by visual design, Jayla... not efficiency.

I hate running in Heine but dang, it is the most beautiful city in game.
I voted for Goddard (which is essentially a vote for Schuttgart as well)

I like the way those towns are set up. The half crescent design around the bottom with most of the supplies and some skills, then everything else up in the round center. Just flow's...

I agree based just on aesthetics Heine is by far the prettiest. But as far as look and function go, I got to give props to Goddard/Schuttgart :)
From a total aesthetic point of view, Elven Village followed closely by Heine. Though Gevurah has some neat effects to it as well. Upper Rune is impressive looking but lower Rune looks like a shanty town with no real thought put into it, like the level designers dropped some dice on a table and decided that'll be the placement of the buildings.

As for ease of use, Aden and Hunter's Village score marks for having the wh, and grocery stores near the GK. Hunter's comes out on top by putting all the trainers in one section.
Giran, but just because it's where I spend most of my time. The best design architecturally speaking would have to be Rune. I just love how it winds up and down the mountain.
village of gludin, it just is Huge, i 'd love to see it full of people.
I like Oren. Its like a castle on a hill. Nice sound effects there also.
