Im a Level 76 Wind Rider and was wondering peoples views on blinding blow
Use Blinding Blow in PvP yes or no? waste of mp? only use when Mastery triggers?
I currently only really use Blinding blow for the run speed bonus to stab a random target then chase my main target I had originally if they manage to out run me or are some distance away that is.
But I was in MRT other night and Blinding blow triggered few times twice on S grade char and once on a A grade Gladdie and almost all the time on C/B grade light armours in the arena. Obviously the latter is due to level difference but I wondered what stat resits the blinding blow effect? (making them show back etc) and what stat makes it land more? or is it a matter of luck and I was obviously fairly lucky that night??
Also was watching some wind rider pvp vids, and seems a handful of vids they don't even have it on the hot bar??? surely its worth a spot there at least?
blinding blow is necessary skills anyone who has removed from the hotbar is LOL playa imho
try blinding blow on archer who is trying to stuns you blinding blow + bs imo always makes face stab (it is not needed to SEE that the enemy turns his back he is turned for sure) I know that this skill is used in such cases while some1 is casting something on you....
and it is also hot to run with 250 speed... and catching some refugees or ..... just to flee away from mob gang or.... pvp gang ! :))

If its not needed to see the enemy turn when does the effect take place when the stab lands for normal damage or crit or is it 100%? Cause I know even if you miss the stab you still get run speed bonus.
But thanks for the tip dude, I'll try pop a few face stabs tonight will surely annoy a few people :)
Based only on my observations lands exactly as I've explained on my previous post.. for instance ... some archer try to stun you .. when the animation of stunshot is running u hit blinding blow and backstab after that and thats one backstab for sure you don't have to run behind the enemy, other case spellhowler trying to sleep you (because cast speed for that skill is a bit slow) hit bblow then bs.. should land for sure. Noting lands for 100% you should know that already :D but that little thingie makes blindingblow 1 idea more useful than just speed boost ya..
so what happened with your tryouts ?:D
==============
While attempting a powerful attack on the enemy's vital areas, it causes the enemy to show his/her back.

you should keep that in mind :D
another thing when used on mob sometimes the mob turns his back from tha skill but bs doesnt land even when it is turned .. so keep that in mind even if you see it turns or it don't it has a chance for the enemy to show his/her back so.. do BS after BB just for an extra BS damage :D
ahhh I've been failing miserably just going BB then BS straight away. It has however landed 1 or 2 times with mortal strike buff on but now i read that post i see its more like switch skill i guess?
You have to try land blinding blow as they use a skill bit like when you use switch switch...
Only time in PvE I use BB is when the next mob is a good run away so I use it as a last stab to run off and get the next mob keep the kill speed as high as possible :)
Other then that its only BS or DB depending if the mob is agro or not and how much MP i have :)
going to have a play in the arena tonight unless baium is free as I need subclass as well.
