Now I am angry.

I did the event and went around on fantasy isle opening chests.

I got 2-3 chests with fireworks that went off when opening.

All 3 chests contained 4-7 sack pieces and nothing else.

I petitioned saying I want at leats some type of rare item like it says on the event page.

if it said "or Treasure sack pieces" it means that you may only get pieces.

but the event page said AND Treasure sack pieces.

2 days later I got my final response from a HEAD GM...

Please allow me to clarify my previous response. I am a Senior GM for Lineage II. The drops for these chests are random and we have no record of when fireworks went off. Due to the random nature of the prizes and the lack of proof in our logs, no reimbursement will be given.

Didn't you get an IC helm? I wouldn't be (//_Q) about treasure chests then.

Rare and special treasure boxes that shoot fireworks when you open them will sometimes appear. These boxes contain random rewards such as top A-grade weapons, Shadow Wolf Mount Bracelets, whole Treasure Sacks, and additional Treasure Sack Pieces.

The "and" is at the end which in English is the proper way to end a list of things or items. It doesn't denote it as being additional to the other prizes. I suppose they could have used "or" but either way it seemed clear to me. I got fireworks boxes that gave me wolf bracelets, some that have a whole treasure bag, and others that gave only pieces.

LOL if they log every action from every chest and player ect, that would be funny and also impossible. Its only a event...You should get used to that those events are so sucky in the drop rate and rewards that the best thing really is to sell all drops and stuff you get from the event to take some profit from it. All else is useless and a waste of try and money.

Ok I admit I sound greedy, I probably am.

I so feel a bit cheated about part of the event.

Also to clarify why I was mostly broke in the first place was form buying treasure sack pieces for 35k each...

Whether or not I got a lot, I feel I was promised something, didn't get it and was given exoduses and a rude attitude by the GM for it.

I have been having a cruddy few days in RL to, I have been sick and am irritable, so I may not see the good things right now and tend to focus on the bad.

I will try to keep my forums whining more in check in the future.


lastly the post by "jayy" I don't mind people telling me im wrong or even cracking jokes at me. Everyone is entitled to there opinion and freedom of speech.

But see it in our point of view. Best I got with the event was a 3rd place sack that gave me Mid grade lifestones (that I have like tons on my WH already).

You got a IC helmet from a 1st sack. That's like top prize. So then when you come to complain about the treasure chests and the event, we feel kinda like... "Why on Earth is she/he complaining about?"

So that's why people didn't really take your post that seriously. And I don't think that was nothing wrong with the description either, you might have simply read too much into it. But if you want my honest opinion, you shouldn't even have GM'ed it after having been lucky enough to get the best prize you could have in the event... And let alone be ****** off with the response, even if there HAD been a mistake. Simply be thankful for it, cause many people didn't get crap, including myself.

I lost out on 6 or 7 firework boxes myself, mostly because they were double stacked, but also because I crit errored once just after the fireworks went off, and once my unlock was 3 seconds away from refreshing and some guy just walked up and popped it open, then opened the trade window to show me the 2nd place sack he just got from my chest. I can't complain, and I'm not because I got something, I walked away with an EAA and 2 EAB which was alot more than other people got. I'm happy with what I walked away with and I took a risk turning in my peices instead of selling them just like everyone else.

You, however, have not earned any right whatsoever to open your mouth about missing out on this event. You want to complain about the 20 treasure sack peices you lost in those treasure boxes? How about what everyone else endured, and walked away with jack ****ing **** to show for it?

God, its like you've just won a $10 million lawsuit for slipping on a sidewalk or burning your lips with a hot coffee cup, and you're filling for another $5000 in small claims court for punitive damages. What the hell does it take to make you happy?
