Thats the best part about signing the EULA and TOS. If you had read it you'd realize they don't NEED to give you a reason. They can terminate/ban/suspend any account for any reason and they don't have to explain to you why or for how long.
And most of the "with no reason" bans turn out to have a good reason indeed...
So I'm sitting and watching.
By the way, GM's don't have to respond to you here. Open a ticket. Although Spam usually goes out of his way to respond (and generally pointing out that there was a good reason hehe).
If you REALLY had no reason to get banned, I hope it gets solved for you. But... you know, most of the recent cases that came to complain on the forums had good reasons and all.

Rofl? If they got a reason they have to proove it. At least they have to send a mail with explanaton of what happened. Im rly tired of watching all "BOT" answers from NCsoft support.
Rly the worst support i've ever seen.

I have a friend who was banned for "suspected adena selling." He probably had less than 500m total worth of gear & adena and was banned for this. While farmers contain billions and farm unabated in every cata & necro blatantly and sell adena without trouble.
I'm saying that recently most of the people that came to complain on the forums for being banned without reason, the GMs had good reasons to ban them.
And you're sure he was banned for "adena selling" and not "real money transactions?". Cause in Real Money Transactions, it counts buying adena too. Not saying he wasn't banned without reason, cause I don't know your friend so can't tell, but you know, it's a fine line there. And if the player IS banned with no reason, I know the GM's restore their accounts.
But I don't think that happens that often, to be honest.

Well i got an example, in localhost's topic =spam= said that he got a video with "hide" effect of his banned friend, localhost asked him to show, still =spam= didnt show this video :)
Good example, isnt it?
Seriously, localhost, wasn't he the guy that admitted to botting in hero chat? Nuff said...
For some reason I don't really think he was a legit guy. So honestly, I DOUBT it was just because of the video. Spam doesn't really have to tell you the real reason on the forums.

What part of "they don't need to prove ****" do you not understand? GM's word is final they are 'god'. If you have an issue with 'god' you can go pray.

Im not talking about local and not talking about his chat, im talking about if u say something, u have to proove it, if u dont proove it - ur words are nothing.
P.S. if u talk about screen where local talking about bots, why the guy that posted that screen didnt show us full screen with full chat log?:) I was IG that moment and I know what local was talking about.

Sry, I live in country with law. Do I need to explain u what is "law"? And the "accused" guy can protect himself and at least to ask what did they judge him for. Understand?
Unfortunately your country's law is not observed by Texas State Law.
Unfortunately I dont rly care what kids say, okay?
P.S. I think this thread is made to get some answers from GM's :)

NCsoft is law and you're accepting it everytime you press ''Agree'' button.
They can ban any account for any reason, or NONE what so ever, as outlined in the EULA posted on the official website. Your countries law is irrelevant in this discussion. We as users have ZERO right to anything in this game. We are leasing, for $15/month, access to data on a server, we don't own diddly squat, and are entitled to diddly squat... 'understand'?
Sry, I live in country with law. Do I need to explain u what is "law"? And the "accused" guy can protect himself and at least to ask what did they judge him for. Understand?
Problem with your theory is that when you click "I Accept", that's the law for this game. Anything else isn't valid. You're basically signing a contract once you click I accept, and that contract says that they can terminate your account without prior notifications.
So that's the law. You're signing a contract with the EULA, that's what some people fail to understand. It's like you're physically signing it with your own signature. If you sign a contract, then you don't like what's written there, yet you weren't FORCED to sign, it's your own fault to begin with if things don't go as you wanted them to go.
So why NCsoft is violating their own law by banning "not guilty" ppl?
1st, you don't know if they are "not guilty" or not, and you will never know, so there is no reason to argue that.
2nd, if NC wants to ban everyone who has used the words "tire pressue gauge" and "vanilla tapioka" in the same sentence, its their perogative.
I don't know what the hell makes you think you have some kind of grasp on the statute of laws that govern online games, but you don't know jack ****. Just stop arguing about this, you look ******ed.
So why NCsoft is violating their own law by banning "not guilty" ppl?
You're making no sense.
It IS part of their contract. The one you sign every time you click I Accept. They expect you to read it at least once. If you don't, that's your own problem. They're not violating their law. If they banned "not guilty" people, the "not guilty" people will open a ticket, like any other normal people here would, they'll analyze the case, and if they're REALLY not guilty, they'll get their accounts back. I've heard of it happening. GM's are human adn can make mistakes.
However...
Most of the "not guilty" people DO turn out to be not so innocent after all. GM's usually take their time to analyze the cases, that's why they don't ban instantly. Exactly to avoid people complaining they were banned with no reason.
So seriously? I dare to say most of the "not guilty" aren't so clean to begin with. I find it funny that you're always so jumpy against the GMs. People here will start saying you're getting worried ;)
So why NCsoft is violating their own law by banning "not guilty" ppl?
/palmface
How can you violate your own law when its not a law? Its a term of service. You can be 100% legit player and they can ban you for no reason at all. It may suck but they don't need a reason.

Here direct from the EULA section 14 titled TERMINATION:
NC Interactive reserves the right to suspend or terminate this Agreement (including your Software license and your Account) immediately and without notice if you breach this Agreement or willfully infringe any third party intellectual property rights, or if we are unable to verify or authenticate any information you provide to us, or upon game play, chat or any player activity whatsoever which is, in our sole discretion, inappropriate and/or in violation of the spirit of Lineage II as described in the Rules of Conduct. Should NC Interactive decide to suspend or terminate this Agreement with a User under any circumstances, the User will lose access to your Account for the balance of any prepaid period without any refund.
I'll direct your attention to the bolded part of that statement. They can ban your account anywhere anytime for any reason end of story. Now I'll sit back and watch this thread unfold.

I know if you were banned by a lower tier gm under "a judgment call" Spam and the other top tier GMS can override it if they do not believe you committed whatever actions the lower tier gm banned you for.
This happened to me, won't go into the circumstances but had nothing to do with botting but something else. Lower tier gm though by reading chat logs I was involved and banned me, after everything was sorted out and I was unbanned 2 weeks later but it took a lot of time.
I never once complained on the main forums about it but instead through private messages to the CM, Spam and tickets to support. This is the wrong place to complain about being banned because you could just tick spam off and he can choose not to look into it.

1. Why do u think that I dont know about "guilty" or not?
2. If NC wants to ban, they send an e-mail, like if u used some trashtalk they allways send a mail.
3. U were looking ******ed when u said that u started to dislike russians because of me, well just take off ur pink googles and stop using the words like "******". Less u use - more ppl think that u arent kid.
Boy if I was a moron I'd say this looks a bit like a forum troll :(... no wait thats just my WoW General Forum radar going off /phew.
You know the old saying "Don't argue with an idiot they are just going drag you down to their level and beat you with experience." With that I think I'm done here.
