As you can see pretty much every1 is in OE'd s80/icarus/vesper weapons and armors but beleth pretty much kicks ***. Another thing is that for me it seamed pretty weak force to take beleth down.

As far as i know, koreans get to beleth via gm teleportation. And it will get fixed in gracia final. But my info can be wrong.
That vid makes me laugh... Two different toons as a recorder in that .. one was in l2r and the other 2 ingame. The 2 in game had no chat messages at all and the 3 hotbars were empty, yet they were using skills.
Regardless, I love the cut scenes in L2. So far the only ones I've seen (excluding this one) are from Antharas and the Crazy golem guy outside Pavel Ruins.
Right now it may look like Beleth is impossible to kill, even with top gears and skills.... but remember how Antharas needed 20 million there to kill, and how Valakas wiped everyone out? Even Frintessa's Requiem of Hate had everyone stumped for a while... but they finally have figured it out.
When they finally fix the transport into Beleth, and a few parties are demolished, someone will figure out the trick, and he will go down regularly. This is part of the fun of L2, the exploring and figuring things out.

the reason the other epic bosses are so easy is because of changes to skills, gear and especially element so until whole alliances start walking round with 600 dark s84 the dude could very well be impossible regardless of strategy
That's the whole point. You need around 200 people in S84 gear, which is absolutely doable within a few years. The group in that video is raiding Diyad on Gracia twice a week for S84 weapons. But that's a pure PvE team, like for example "Stern des Nordens" on Teon. They don't waste time, shots and potions with gang wars. As I have stated in an other thread, if you want to take on Beleth, make peace with your enemies, cut off your balls and develop a long-term strategy to arm all the high-level players on the server.
P.S.: As it says at the beginning of the video, it was made on server no.7 (Devianne), a very much official server :p

when you watch a vid of a replay, if there is a cutscene, when it comes back to the actual gameplay, it bugs out the client and that is what you see

I don't know the story, and I don't care enough to argue about it one way or the other. I'm not calling anyone out, all I'm saying is until someone comes up with some kind of proof.. other than a few names to drop, I'll hold my reservations about whether or not this is official

I have read that thread on Naia tower and seen Elmar post the pics from korean server working their way through the tower. The last time I read it he hadn't posted the last part with beleth.
붇끛좀므 was the one taking the vid in the 2 Baylor videos.. I guess hes one of the ones who was reporting about Naia tower from wherever the article was translated from...
You can also see alot of the same bodies from the 2nd part of the Beleth vid, the pics posted on elliebellie must have been taken from someone else in the same vid.. 백섹의갛대 is the bladedancer dead in the video, he is also in the last pic of Elmars post.. but in a diff area, maybe res/salvation explains it.. and I'm pretty sure 모란지 is one of 2 people dead in the middle of the walkway in the vid.. I guess they are the same group and this is legit then.
I think its pretty safe to say that before making a gross assessment of ones motivation, you should probably take a 2nd read and make sure that they at least seem ambitious enough to deconstruct and factually argue and debate about what may or may not be real. Like I said, I really didn't give a **** either way, the only reason you're getting a reply from me even is incase anyone else was wondering the same thing as me.. I just thought I'd clear it up for people, and show that there is some sort of association with korean official beyond the high brow name-drops

Because it was a test raid with 5 parties. They originally only wanted to kill the Epidos, but once the Teleportation Cubic appeared they couldn't resist the temptation to have a look at Beleth.
As I have stated before, you need 200 well equipped 80+ players to have at least the beginning of a chance.
@ Jayy: I am Elmar. That's my real name. Hu Yidao ("one [swipe with the] broadsword") is a character from "Fox Volant of the Snowy Mountain" by Jin/Kim Yong. The Doomcryer 붇끛좀므 (the last consonant is a p and not an m, but I can't type it in here) is Kiroro's main. The Tower of Naia walkthrough was originally created by mainland Chinese GMs (you can still see their watermark in some of the pictures), then improved upon by Taiwanese players, then improved upon by Ferst and Kiroro, who also supplied some of the pictures.

Despite what people may see on the surface, past the profanity and judgemental demeanor I can actually be a half decent person... Would say "believe it or not" here, but most people would choose the latter anyway. I really didn't care who these people were and/or if they had any connection or relationship with official/private/whatever servers, and honestly I still don't. I had only questioned whether or not these vids were legit, and I ended up being wrong.. Just thought I'd contribute to the thread why my first thoughts were wrong aas well as what the proof was.. **, look another guy without any sense of humor... And what does it mean to you that i joined the forum in aug. 2008? i play L2 since c3 only for your info since you take me very seriously.
So far i know this is from Korean PTS, but the 'dream team' there is the dream team coming from the official korean devianne server.
So far i know korean CT2.3 is still in PTS, not official yet, could you ask Kiroro to be sure? because i'm certain this is PTS, unless Kiroro says its not.

I looked at that link, and I didn't see anything about beleth. I saw Darion and going down the Naia tower, but nothing else.... is it hidden somewhere?
@ Nuku: Kiroro stresses that those videos were made on the regular Devianne server. No starting out at lvl 83, like on the test server, but every percent of exp hard earned :)
In parallel to the regular servers NCKorea had their test server up and running until recently (the last PTS patch note is from March 5), constantly adjusting the main servers, but since they have updated their database to CT 2.3 a few days ago, I would say that the heavy testing phase is over.
By the way, Taiwan will update to CT 2.3 on April 7, like Japan. They have already published walkthroughs with screenshots from a translated server/client.

Also it seems that he, beleth is the ultimative hardcore epic raid ever were made in L2. Looks like you need at least 2 partys for every beleth in that room with s80 + which seems impossible to me..almost. At least for now.

Well, doing the Tully's access quest takes an average of 4 hours... to get both Ranku and the Demon Prince down. It all depends on the luck of which floor you get ported to. A seasoned team going up there, knowing all the shortcuts and corners to cut, still can take 4 hours.
Once you have access to Tully's, you have to "defeat" Tully (he's pretty easy) and do what it takes to get to Darion, then you have to get into Naia and go all the way down those floors within the time frames alloted, get past that friggen mutated elpy and his friends, then defeat Epidos...
I can see that it could take hours to get this done. But if you think about it... starting out on a Saturday morning and finishing up late Saturday night is pretty feasible.
And I bet you you would have a lot of fun, with plenty of stories of how you got wiped over and over but then finally got there :D So it would be worth it, eh?
Well yes, for sure it would be fun. Its something new in L2 to make such big quests with your party/clan. But i couldnt stay alert for over 5h playing...I just dont see me doing it 13h xD But yeah, i would love to join one time a party for doing it :D
