I am player Lineage2 within almost two years. I play Teone. My ingame nik "IIIty4ka". Recently I Play not often, because of employment at job and my character quite often sits in a city in the market. On March, 18th, 2009 having started in the evening game and having run about on Goddard within approximately hour, I have departed for a while and when has returned to the computer at me on the screen there was a Disconnect window. All my attempts to come into game in what have resulted. I began to suspect bad, have come on plaync.com and have learnt that my account "Liverpul" is Banned. With an explanation of the reason I have not received any notice.
For almost 2 years of game my achievements, it is character SE/WC 77/79 lvl. It is a lot for the given period? I think not so much as people using bot-programs achieve such successes for 2-3 months a maximum.
I never broke any conditions EULA, the only thing what I can admit that sometimes I allow to the son to play in Lineage on the computer before a sleeping. I do not think, what is it is rough infringement, worthy account closings.
Where I live In a place, the majority of users are connected to the Internet through a local network, i.e. at us at all one general IP the address. As I have understood from the received answer from GM Ludwig, from mine IP addresses were made actions breaking EULA.Heard that sometimes, all users having one IP the address Banned, if though one of them used not resolved
programs. I think, what is it my case. I am very surprised, why company NCsoft has not solved till now a problem erroneous Ban on the basis of the general IP the address.
Because of one player using forbidden programs or methods tens decent people suffer. The most ridiculous that the one who is really guilty, already will open next day new 9 accounts, in a week becomes on the same place and will continue an earning adena further. And such as I, will throw game having lost faith in justice. Or I am wrong? Then whence at every turn shout about sale of Epics jewellery and adena for real money.
Where here logic dear sirs from NCsoft? It can be simply favourable your company? Or there can be it there is a justice? Unless for this purpose me, or same people like me , spent 2 years the time and money?
I know peoples who simply are afraid to come now into game or to go on exp to places where ban is possible without understanding successively. They say that will better wait for time when it will be possible is quiet to play, without being afraid to lose all because of someone's banal error.
It would be desirable to hope that my letter will be read by somebody from GM's.
Whats nc sayed about the ban? which reason? You play for 2 years and only now registered here on the forum? O.o
I am sorry but i dont understand very good your post. You got banned because you were in party and other used a bot program or? I mean for some reason you got banned.
I have only The standard answer of the post robot: "This mail is to notify you that your account was confirmed to be violating the User Agreement and/or Rules of Conduct by engaging in, or being related by IP address to the use of an unauthorized third-party program in conjunction with the Lineage II service".
I was in town on that moment. Thats all i know ((
I not so well know English language, therefore did not see the reason to be registered here earlier.
so..you botted?friens of yours botted? did you joined a party which used bots? You know, nc needs a reason to make this ban...Contact support for get a better answer.
Firstly I must warn you that this post will be locked by a one of the NC staff. Discussing account issues on the forums is not allowed.
If you're based in the Far East then there is a high chance you were caught up in the IP bans. To correct this you must open a ticket at NC's support site and make this clear; you won't get any support on these issues on the forums.
NC will have sent you an e-mail to the e-mail address registered in your PlayNC account profile. Go there and check your e-mail is up to date.
I think what he means is, since in Russia they have multiple PC's with 1 IP adress, and if 1 gets a ban - so does everyone else using the same IP. It's a common problem in any online game.

Net cafe? Well the best is ncsoft support. Here you will get ignored and maybe this thread will get closed. So try your luck there.
I have written here because I consider that I am one of victims of the blocking which have become frequent recently on IP to the address. The given kind of blocking has weight of lacks, however company NCsoft for some reason so does not consider. Also would like to hear opinion of people about it. Naturally it would be desirable to hear opinion of the manager from NCsoft. :(
p.s. Thanks all for councils. At present I try to correspond by means of support ticket.
Banning based on ip is wrong. Stop doing that NCSoft, especially in our day and age when many/most internet provider provide random IPs.
If a botter from my country gets an ip at some point and then that ip is selected for me does my account get banned ?
No no, it's wrong and it should be stopped.
If 1 account had no illegal activities then it shouldn't matter AT ALL that it shared the same ip with 200 botting accounts, capisce ? /facepalm
I ask for an official stand on this situation, since I find it disturbing to say the least.
y, it seems a bit to much. So if is correct what you all say, any one could get unlucky and be cought in a ip ban and just get ban at one time? That is a bit disturbing:eek:

Sorry to tell you this, but they will not give you your account back. This happened to me too. I was using a public internet access point where someone else was using a bot program and they banned everyone associated with that IP address.
IMO, its total BS. My toon was in town also, just sitting idle. I was not in a group or anything. The player that was caught even confessed to it so the rest of us wouldn't get banned. It didn't help though.

Happens all of the time. You get a few people rightfully QQing on the forums, but people who get hit regularly have an ongoing dialogue with the GM's through the NC site support. One person came and discussed it on the forums a few months back.
Just keep a log of your conversations and you will always be able to back yourself up if you keep getting hit by IP bans.
Good luck getting your account back. I had thought that NCsoft stopped the ip bans because of the net cafe's. This is a seriously flawed way to ban, and should be stopped :(
Does this mean dynamic IP users run a risk of getting banned? No, not at all, because this is not a case of using dynamic IPs. What we have here is a local home network with several computers sharing a single static IP through the use of a router. Many people have a simple network like this at home.
What NCsoft probably did is that they found this IP to be involved in illegal activities. They looked it up and found that it was a static IP linked to a router and so decided to ban all the accounts hiding behind it.
If you're sitting behind a router with a single IP you run a high risk of getting banned if someone else behind that IP is cheating.
Is it wrong by NC? In my opinion no. If you want to blame someone blame your internet provider for using a local network with a single static IP. This is not how an Internet provider should set up their service!

And you do not think, what it becomes not to complicate simply to itself a life? Since to find guilty and to punish personally it it is not easy, much easier to choose one IP the address to put on it the block. And the reference on EULA it simply one of legal ways to justify the actions. All to spit on the simple player, be you though the Hero in top clan.
