I have started getting emails from 0ooOOoo0 (or something like)
selling adena to me at super prices (apparently)
As nobody else has reported this as far as I can see is it just me!! ;)
Of all the ways that they can irritate a player, sending an in-game email with the spazzed up Community server as it is, just has to be the most annoying.
(I'm a clan leader if that makes any difference to where/how they chose their victim?)
They create a new character every 3-4 spams to specifically reach the people who have already blocked their new char.
No, they recreate characters to spam people who will actually go buy something, they don't care about those who block them. They know they won't sell anything to them and if they could avoid to send the pms to them, they'd do because their characters would stay longer.
But it's ok to think they create characters just to spam YOU specifically, because they are all against you. There are therapies.

The reason they mass spam pms is to reach everyone they possibly can. To them its nothing but business. Alot like getting junk emails, they come up with more and more ways to bypass spam filters (never succeeding, which makes me wonder why bother to begin with) and basically do anything they can to get as many people reading their emails as possible. Whether you're interested or not, the more people who see your advertisements, the more effective they will be.
I don't know what makes you think that I'm implying they are sitting there waiting for player IcEcOlD3523 to block them so they can create a new player just to target him solely... But as a whole, I'm sure they are able to notice the decrease in average pms across the server by people who are blocking them, and can estimate that after 4-5 rounds of pms its time to create a new char to reach that part of the market that has blocked them. I guess they thing if you get annoyed enough you'll assume buying from their site will shut them up?
I don't know what they think exactly, but its simple retail advertising. More marketing coverage = more people reached. More people reached = more potential customers. More potential customers = more profit. They are not doing everything they can to reach everyone they possibly can if they just let us /block them once and never hear from them again. Its pretty ****** from our end, being relentlessly assaulted by intrusive and illegal pms... But from their end its simply business practice
The ingame mails suck. Nothing anyone can do about it until nc decides to do something to stop spamming, and I don't know about you guys but I'm not going to hold my breath

But you have your answer, or at least as good of one you're going to get from a player or from NC, cuz they aren't ever going to say a **** thing about it... So, excuse me if it sounds a bit rude but, what more is there to say about the mails, exactly? =/

Well, as I asked a question in the first post (and to re-cap for those who are hard of thinking: "Is it just me they have targetted with this" )
I know it isn't just me, I was just curious if it is as widespread as the PM's as nobody in our clan (or alliance for that matter) seems to be getting them.
Nobody has actually said on this thread if they get the emails - just "yes we get PMs too" seemed to be the response...

... Is that why I can get a whisper from A003AS24H for one site, and then 5 minutes later H51E528DA is whispering for the same site, while A003AS24H is still online?
