Does anyone here know whether you need to change into a 2nd class to craft B soulshots and crush B grade crystals?
I have a mid 30 dwarf that I plan on lvling to 46 (or 48) to craft B ss but I would much prefer to just do daily kama's and grind until I lose my third or second viality bar (if I already grinded my vitality points off my main).
I already did a set of those change class quests on one toon and am 2/3's done with my second set on another toon. They are a pain and take as much time as lvling 6 or 7 lvls would around my high 30's. Also I'm new so paying 3 million isn't much of an option.
Thus - Just curious if I can skip the change class and still be able to craft B ss at 46 or 48.
You wont even be able to crush C grade or learn any C grade recipes without doing your class change. Good news is that the class change isn't the hardest part.. You can bypass it with 3m and a 5 minute quest from Daeger in Giran Blacksmith.
As to getting that 3m, its pretty simple. Go to giran, /target taurin, take a look around and notice all the orange shops. If you plan on crafting shots, this is how you do it well. Rather than sitting around for ages mindlessly clicking, wasting your own mp, for a minimal fee (remember that for BSS, 150a per craft comes out to an extra .33a per soulshot. Less than dirt cheap to craft) you can craft literally hundreds of thousands of shots within 2 minutes and supply not only yourself with as many shots as you need, but turn around and sell them for extra profit ontop of that and make some money on the side.
I remember posting in the thread where you were deciding on making an alt, and voted against you rolling an artisan.. This is essentially why. Bounty Hunters can still crush items.. They can still carry as much weight with the passives as a Warsmith can.. And they can still craft just as easy (with negatable prices in giran craft shops) as any Warsmith can.. Even easier, if that Warsmith is only trying to be self-sufficient off his own mp.
Anyway, in summary. Craft and sell your own shots (buy the crystals and soul ore yourself, using the tax guide here (http://lineage2.rochand.com/) to find the cheapest town to buy ore in), and buy yourself the 2nd class change saving the hassle. You'll be off to make money quicker, and in the long run eventually save money, because you'll be out there grinding and making more money instead of running back and forth between giran and freakin gludin over and over again.
