I have a level 26 kamael and have a question. When changing you weapon to a rapier and enchant it to get the crit bonus, fallen srike and dark strike are unuseable. Then whats the point in doing it if you loose you 2 primary dmg skills at this point??
Did you do the first class change? If not you need to go back and do the Path of the Warder(Female)/Trooper(Male) quest. You get new skills when you do that use the rapier.

I did that and trained all skills i can. Only skill i can use that arnt semi passive are the 2 ranged ones and they dont do more dmg then when just hitting auto attack with the sword/rapier.
Ok, the thing is that BEFORE lvl 40 and second change class you (and almost every other character in game) get different types of skills according to the classes you might change into later. So you will get Ancient Sword skills and Rapier skills. Ofc, if you equip a rapier you will not get to use the ancient sword skills and viceversa.
Once you decide your path (Soulbreaker or Berserker) you will get more skills for the type of weapon you will be using forever. So, unless you don't have clear what your kamael will grow into... you should pick only the skills that you will use later. For example, if you are going for Soulbreaker, DO NOT traing Ancient Sword Mastery... traine Abizal Blaze and Double Thrust... got it better now? ^^
Feel free to ask for any other advice. Cya!
And byw... Elnion, he was talking about enchanting the rapier to get the Rapier Chance Skill that can trigger while giving a critical hit, he wasn't talking about the SA ^^
It is like Romanec said. In every skill description you will find a weapon requirement. From that you can see which skills need a rapier and which need an ancient sword.
The berserker is a melee fighter with strong skills and debuffs, but low survivability, while the soulbreaker is a dagger/nuker hybrid. According to your play style you can choose the class which suits you the most.
