If you mean Gracia Final, I dont think its even live in korea yet ><
WOW, if their pts started in november and they dont have final live yet then there is something severely wrong with this new patch.....
It's live in Korea. And it just went live in Japan, too.

Yes, it is.
The last update was fairly small, so it didn't take too much time for them to get it out. This update, form what I've heard, should be fairly large. I don't mind waiting as long as it is quality.
Remember this april fools event...pts is coming...(I hope i am not wrong with this >.<')
size wise gracia final is the probably largest update ever. as for changes to the game its self, its more like rewriting it from scratch lol, so many changes its mind boogling.
does anyone have a link or info on all the changes/updates in Final?
most complete and accurate site i cannot link

There's no botting in L2. Gameguard prevents it.

/sarcasm off

newsflash: there are still some of us that has played this game for 3+ years without botting or ebaying.

You don't have to be SO ready to jump down everyone's throat for botting. His comment was not an "I'm a botter" confession but rather a remark on the ineffectiveness of NCsoft/gameguard to stop botting.

Seriously, chill out.
dyvrim, the reason is simple, nckorea really doesn`t care about the na/euro servers.

If you look here u can see the # of players in korea:
http://www2.elliebelly.net/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=632
Look esp hard at the # of lvl 78 and 79 players, thats close to 20,000 players. I would not be surprised if thats not more then the total # of players on the na/euro servers combined.

Now take into consideration that korea has a population of approx 72 mil in an area 1/3 the size of texas and ALL IN ONE TIMEZONE, so there only concern is themselves, we the na/euro players can take it or leave it.

So in a financial point of view, if all the na/euro players left i seriously doubt they would even care. They have the income coming in from the korean players and now established japan players, so pfffttt why should they care about the na/euro servers.

Truthfully it cost them more in man hours to keep the na/euro servers supplied in updates and translations then its worth.

If ncwest had any true control over the game, there would be vast changes between the two (korea versus na/euro) servers. Because of the vast time zone differences of the na/euro servers an xp/sp change could be implamented due to the FACT that on the na/euro servers players are trying to party from across a 20+ hour timezone difference versus being in the same time zone as korean players are. That alone makes a vast difference in the players lvl`s.

As it is, all ncwest does is maintain the servers and put on a few events. Now that may seem harsh, but if they truely had any control we the players would see many differences between the na/euro servers and the korean servers, whereas it is currently, we meaning the na/euro servers are as you said:

The problem is that L2 is a huge success in the korea market. They love grind games. Here in europe things are difrent and wow is most played and popular. You need to do better advertsiment for L2 in europe in order to succeed and getting more players
Drac: They love grind games.

Exactly, BUT you have to realize there are over 20,000+ players there in ONE timezone.

They can party easier then we can, they can do boss raids easier then we can, everything they need to do to get higher lvl`s is easier for them since they are in ONE timezone.

Its not as has been been said in the past "that the koreans work together better then we do" its because there are 2-3 times more players online at any one time, then on the na/euro servers due to time zone differences.
my guess is that NCSoft are implementing payed services to finally launch color services which are available in Korea since first Gracia I think (or maybe from 2.2). these services constitute large part of the last update and we got none of it at all.

also they announced payed service to swap sub to main, probably that will be launched at the same time too.

as we all remember that for some reason it took a lot of time to implement transfer and name change services, probably it's the same reason that holds GF launch right now.
wish spam or some1 else ncsoft related would reply as all the final threads are coming into action. would be great to let ur players know wat u are doing in terms of the release. Plz?
