This low life form - read Snarf - is a scammer. And today, fortunately to the other, I was the one that got scammed. A guy works hard to make a craft and "those people" just take it all away with their scams? In this case I was looking for S Gems and I got 32 Entrance Pass to the Sepulcher (Hum, I guess now I can give all my family a free rige to 4Seps, thanks to that guy..
After a while, I was looking for the Gems I really have to buy and I found another guy - PORN1D1O.
My question is, what will happen to these scammers? People like me that don't have much adena and is trying to make a little more meet guys like this one and get back zero?
I would like to think that some kind of action is being done to scammers like those two above.
By the way, this specific moment happened on Devianne.
It would be a nice solution if NC soft would stop using the same image for multiple things would solve this problem best graphic game yet we cant figure out what to make the red gems look like ... hmm use the a gemstone image... i feel your pain ive been burned myself for a gemstones when ive not taken the time to look. Unfortunately gms cant take any action against scammers due to their rights to sell anything in game for whatever they want in adena.
Nothing will be done about this. If you read the little advice messages at log on you will see they state to Confirm things such as price, item, person, etc to avoid losing money, items, etc.
I'm sure ts probably in the EULA too if you read it.

Its sad to say, but my advice to you is to check and double check before you buy something.
There are alot of worthless people out there that are looking to take advantage of some one else's trust or niceness.
More diverse images for consumable would be good. But the best defense is you being careful always about what you buy. Personally i got scammed once in C1 and since then i never got scammed by no one.
Sory for your lost, but you will recover in time and you will be much wiser in the future:)
the most stupid and hilareus scam is the ancient adena scam in package sell... even if u wanted to get scamed u could not cause when u click to buy them the price is so high that u dont have the adena to buy it.... LOL theese stupid scamers cant even use their brain....

I never understood why someone wouldn't make sure they're getting exactly what they wanted when buying something so expensive. Or double check that what they're selling is the right price. I remember buying a B wep back in C3 for 5 mil because someone forgot an extra 0.

Well, if there was supposed to be another zero then it was a huge loss. Scammers piss me off too. I was lucky enough to have it happen to me when I was a newbie in other mmo's. So far I've been OK in L2.

The worst part about scammers is not the people who lose money.. I have posted this is many threads so far.. The problem is that these people make profit doing nothing but STEALING from people, and NC doesn't give a shït. Something needs to be done to keep these cheaters from being able to openly rob people who are too stupid or "******ed" to not buy these things. I really don't give a **** about the person who loses 150m worth of S gems as sepulcher passes, but I do give a **** about the scumbag who makes 150m off of a dorf in town selling sepulcher passes as S gems. What's great is when there's oriharukon and orichalcum, which are respectively the korean and the english name for the same mythological metal, and they share the same graphics... but one of them is worth several millions while the other not.

Yea scammers suck but it's not really against any official game rules. They give plenty of warning, so it's up to the player tobe responsible for themselves.

You realise the max adena limit is 2,147,483,647... right? And that you cannot put something in shop for more than 1,999,999,999... right?
I didn't even think that 4+5 were that close to 9 for it to be possible to make that kind of typo...

I know the rules, not deeply but, enough to know what's wrong or not. The problem is not what they sell nor price they set. The problem is that they mislead the players with the info they display on the shop. That's what I think it's wrong, not anything else.
Today I'm not mad anymore, but I keep thinking that something could be done about this issue, like for example when you search something with the game tool, you would search the item the shop is really selling and not the info they display. I know it's not THAT simple to imput but probably would save some adena to "******s" or to that "single moment of not being focused". It's just an idea.

This is a by-product of one of the things I like about Lineage 2: There is no system of law or judicial system which allows you to behave the way you really "are" and no one can do anything about it. It allows you, if you are willing to look, at who you are when there is no punishment system intact.... sometimes it's great; sometimes it's a bold look at your lack of morals. But either way, it's interesting :D
I have a pretty good friend ingame that only survived adena-wise by doing these kinds of stores early on in the game.
I finished my subquest buying an sls that someone forgot a zero on. Man, was I happy about that, cuz I was pretty broke at the time. I've dropped a lot of adena buying Soul Ore instead of A crystals, and almost got caught with the Sepulcher passes for S gems. and it is simply because I'm too lazy to read it and make sure, and/or because I have a natural tendency to trust.
The laziness of the design that these very valuable items are using the SAME icon, that is unbelieveable. At least with the S80 mats they have added that small little star so you know you have just bought orichalcum.

I got 2 bows, the one I wanted to sell and +7 with wind attribute one. I started to trade and missclicked with putting +7 instead of +3. And sold +7 for the price of +3 (900kk). I didnt want to sell +7 bow. Got it now?

Indeed, that's a good solution the this problem. Making small changes on items so they could be easily identifiable to the players. If they cannot be banned, at least something should be done on the "other side".
