If you're activelly playing on teon you can see its history. Enter your characters name in search and you'll get info about it. Also you can find who changed name and in what clan that person is/was. However as I can see there's fairly new information because some lowbie charactes that I've can't be found and also if players never play their subs you won't see them. But the real question is how they got such information?
Name change history is publicly available on the main lineage2 website. Doesn't include name changes caused by server merges, but that doesn't matter for Teon.

That's easy. Checker characters in Aden/Rune/Giran with sniffer grabbing all needed data and saving it to DB.
not accurate..... i can only find myself in my clan... my clan so powerful....a number of lv 80 members...i demand respect !!!! who is the admin of the site??
I heard that sniffers can grab information about current class and so on.
But clan history and so on...
There are 2 options:
1. that sniffer works already long time (1y or more)
2. they have some access to NCSoft databases
Btw I have checked mine and 2 friends info.
Differences:
- mine title was old
- friend sub missing (he reroled sub)
This is concerning. Maybe Kinslon can take a look and give us some information about this.
And do what? The data is publicly available anyway.
It can't even be proven that bots have collated this information.. it could just be a few very sad individuals who sit and catalogue everything they see.
If the data is REALLY public, we should be able to see it IN-GAME.
And do what? The data is publicly available anyway. Ah, and what Kinslon -or any GM- can do is just give us SOME INFORMATION about this, meaning GIVING REAL ANSWERS about a subject and not only RANDOM assumptions about everything. Gee, it was really clear in my post.
Man you got me in a bad day today so I apologize if I'm being rude to you, but I'm not in the mood to read useless answers about someone that a) is not involved with the webpage we are discussing about, b) does not know anything about it, and c) cannot give an official answer to the subject. I hope you understand.

Don't worry about being rude to me, I get it every day in my line of work.
If you think about it, the data is available. You can see players in game, you can see their clan affiliations and you can see castle stats. This data is nothing which can't be seen by your average player in game; I could quite easily sit in game for a few hours a day and make my own list, the only difference here is that it's all in one place.
I'm not saying that I by any means agree with it, it is an invasion of privacy to some extent. Apart from the obvious use of 3rd party tools to gather the data, there really isn't anything on there which breaks the rules.
If I was to list up all of the players on a server and keep track of their clans and when they were last online I wouldn't be very popular, but at the same time I wouldn't be breaking any rules or EULA.
I get your point purp, but I still don't see how you can see ingame information about each player subclass or previous clan/alliance history, that information is not available anywhere ingame. The thing is that it is imposible that even 100 people keep track of such things, if you thing about it, there should be a player 24/7 in the starting points where you create a char, and in many different points of each town (including ch's, castles and fortresses) as well as in many different leveling spots, which includes instanced zones as well. So this is only achievable by using a 3rd party software which is illegal and such is displaying information about an account that was obtained via this method.
But this can be countered... the information contained in this webpage gives also information about namechanges and char creation, so this could be used by NC to track possible account sellers/buyers and ban their *****. Also, you can try to track the adena spammers char names and check their history too.
nooo, all spy info revealed! how now i spy my enemy clan??!11?
to be serious, i don't like that site... of course there is nothing much to hide, but you know, in official you cant find your subs listed anywhere, and even you can check if they are 76+ or not (class name).
my title is 2 week old, but castle information is updated from siege weekend...
like clan list, better than there is in teon section in forum what is supposed to help new players to find a clan. good thing war list is not given =DDDDD
90 days activity is not really accurate but 98% correct (5 min in a week is not traceable :D)
what else good there..... oh, nice pictures :D
anyway, to collect this information, even if bot chars were used, it must have cost ( lets say paying for the account) so there must be some profit gained from this also.
on the other hand if site has access to game data base................................
It's ok to have sniffer when it gives you all the drops and spoils of every mobs in the game, but when it comes to characters it's not nice anymore?
Depends on what kind of "ok" it is. But I doubt anyone cares about mobs privacy (http://www.thenoobcomic.com/index.php?pos=25).
this site works since a loooooooooooong time, only before it didn't have that nice graphics. And it's very accurate, at least for Teon, if you're not there that's cause you're noob or your clan is noobish ;);)
BTW i liked "my" page more in the morning, when it listed my sub and title too.. pity they changed it :(
