Clan leader of one of my friends got banned - dunno for what, but he was a clan leader of clan with shared CWH and some skills. So the question is: is it possible to change the leader somehow? Because my fried was a co-leader and wanna lead and improve this clan in future.

mhhh but wont be fair... if clanleader hurts EULA and get banned, why should other members suffer?It's just like any other group or club. When one person does something wrong everyone in the group suffers. Went through this on Teon when I first started playing the Clan leader got banned and everything along with the clan was lost forever. My suggestion is to move on. Next time make sure the clan leader is legit.

Well but how to know whether leader is legit? Why not allow two leaders?
Like in any other group or club? When the head of the club go prison or quit club, u elect a new one. ;)
seems like alot of these "friends" of yours have been getting unjustly banned recently.

In second example leadership was transferred to another character with higher rank. And then spam tell he won't do this again. Does this mean Spam - corrupted GM? OR what? Why for some people he makes exceptions?

If you read what Spam said... he was left with little choice but to change the ownership in order to make sure the merge didn't have any problems. Spam did NOT say he gave the leadership away because it was requested.
Anyway, how do you define a corrupt GM? A corrupt GM would be someone who went around and gave stuff to people whom he/she favoured in return for something else.

The answer is no. We the GM team will never transfer the leadership of a clan ever again. Ever. If clan leadership is ever able to be transferred in the future, it will be done so by a system implemented by the developers. (Please understand that I am not saying the developers are working on a system like this. I am saying the developers will have to make a system to do this, if it is ever done again.)

I believe this was implemented after flintster hired a lawyer to transfer leadership after frankee was banned. He got it done and got himself lots of nice epics from the clan warehouse. NC doesnt want to deal with that crap again so they threw down this rule. Its good this way.

Well, but clanmembers work for clan, too. They pay in clan WH, offer their time for clanrep (doing aca chars)...
I can understand u wont normally transfer clan ownership, but if the leader will for sure never come back (ban), wouldn't be fair for clanmembers to vote a new one or something like this? Or at least give clan members the stuff from clan WH.
