New SE Skill : Shillien's Rage Power of Shilien

General Discussion Started Last reply 21 posts
Just a fancy way to try and make Se's special again

Shilliens Rage : an unerfed VR with an effect of
Shillein rage 1 : vr3
shillien rage 2: vr5
shillien rage 3: vr6
etc.

Power of Shillien: same as above, but for empower
youve never had a kamael in party before i guess, or a 79 Shillien Saint.

1. vr1 is 5% of damage given returned in HP. vr4 is 9%. vr6 would be 11% using the above formula.

2. lord of the vampire, and the Kamael skills, give 15% vr's. and they ALL stack.

3. Empower 1 is 35% bonus Matk (equates to approximately +18% damage) Empower 3 gives 75% more matk, yielding approximately 38% more damage. by this formula, Empower 4 (assuming you want Power of shilien to be after Emp 3) would be 85% more matk (42ish % more damage) and Power of shilen 3 would net 105% more matk for a running damage total of +52%ish more damage.

i am merely stating the numbers as linear correspondants of the existing physics. make up your own mind if thats REALLY overpowered or not, considering players in pvp groups will be wanting these plus whatever ALREADY stacks with it (prophecies, etc)
lord of vamp wont stack next chron (like it matters lol)
Thread is funny.

SE's got their boost. Why are they still acting like they're extremely underpowered, and useless...
SE buff in the final gracia :

stigma of shillien - a hex-like 30 sec debuff, about 30 mp, fast cast, fast cooldown, long range.
adds "40" damage. what is "40" is not yet clear but it increases damage done to the mob .. needs some testing to find out to what "40" is added to though, and if it's %.

prophecy of wind - now with crit rate 20% bonus, patk 10% bonus, matk 20%, cast speed 20%, magic crit damage bonus. Pretty much ok for the nuker. yay i can level with ShS and BD only on my StS, bye bye EEs.
but accuracy bonus is removed and speed penalty is added, oh well have to deal with it.

throne root - aoe root applied to enemies around the caster. moved to 80th level .. not very good in pvp imo but when leveling sub it can be quite useful - get a train, root them all with a single cast, destroy them with aoe nuke or pole using the twink .. pretty handy but 80th level is kind of extreme.

There is allways one or two daggers running around stabbing everyone that could use a root
as if root would land in pvp....
as if you could compare 81 SEs skills with EE and card 81 lv skills...
NC tells SE is a healer...
that new hex skill is 40+ lv, 100% sure you cant OE it witch means it will not land on 78+ chars...

i could go on and on and on...

if you really want to help SEs give tham better heals or option to OE heals (same for EEs), give tham haste or pasive clarity
- before you start about "why haste?" ... WC will have ww, domi btb + bts and crit combo... so why not? (PPs are dead anyway...
- Why pasive clarity - so SEs can keep MP in partys the way EEs do and nukers partys will stop to complain that SE + EE or 2x EE will not keep theyr MP
from what i read about the skill it lands really friggn good at HB so i'm kinda scared my SE has to come out of retirement to outlvl her WC sub ><

Same here lol, and my Shil saint is only 76 while her WC sub is 78 and 30% >.<
well my SE is sitting on like .03 of 78 but that WC is pretty heavily on it's way to 80 ><
What level are the new SE buffs?

40?ish the surrender to melee debuff

and it's a 40% melee resist reduction

They said it was 40% but truthfully I think it's 23% like hex and gloom, and even at 23% it stacks with hex..so a SE and SK/AW/BD/PR or berserker using violent temper

or

S'saint with this debuff
+
Doombringer using violent temper(lowers pdef/cast speed)
+
ST using hex, using hex enchanted aggression, and using lower resistance to melee added to judgement(and tribunal)
+
Titan with armor crush

= major damage.
I Like what you suggested but... I'm getting tired of buffs I want some active stuff :D
SEs need to get back to our evil dark roots :o we need a good heal but not an over powered one like Like a vampric claw that heals the whole party and or a corpse life drain that heals the whole party something like that and ofc..a fear...XD and a boost on bless the blood cause it doesn't fire off much at higher lvs and when it does its not for much and change the pic for bless the blood stealing the pic off of greater battle heal is lazy as hell. XD

ooo Stigma of shillien!!! what i really want to know about it is the melee part.
is melee everything but bows or everything that takes pdef?

im guessing everything except bows/crossbows/magic.

it may include bows, just have to test when PTS comes out.

o and Necromancers have lord of vampire(drain from multiple people at once and take in all the hp) basically a skill you want to use at near death where a vamp claw or dark vortex just won't do it.

The official skill lists showed several levels of the skill, and and the highest lvl (at lvl 70) has "40%" in the skill description, so I guess that is what it is.

Wooooo o.o
Oh If someones going to test it in the pts can you tell me if the casting animation looks different than hex please XD.
Looks like I'll have to xp my SE again to get some SP.
Yep, the guys testing it on the .RU game say the damage increase is pretty friggin' sick. I already have macro's ready and waiting for this.

I <3 my SE ^_^.

In the age where there are so many Debuffs to make your Pdef/Mdef a joke, being able to remove all debeuffs every 15 seconds just went up in stock imo...
