Just looking for some different insights for your initial skill sequences. Will appreciate the tactics. Last but not least, how many use parry stance regularly? Anyone here do the switch on switch off routine depending on the incoming attack type?
opening moves depend entirely on who you are fighting
i wouldn't touch armor crush on a high stun resist target and i wouldn't use stun attack on low hp classes
next chron when toggles don't stop actions i might start taking parry stance seriously but ATM i wouldn't risk turning it on for the little benefit it gives
EDIT: i noticed in CB alot of dorfs like to start with a wrath earthquake combo but me personally i'd prolly just go for stun at least until i have some serious +es on wrath
it would depend on who i face, a high HP/CP target i would start with a polearm and do Wrath (mine is +9 so), Earthquake and possible whirlwind, then switch back to blunt and just spam the stuns and fatal strike.
robes, most robes your best chance always lies with stunning them before they can start slow you.
daggers and archers, usually archers are basicly same as robes. high level daggers, especially if they have 81 skills your only chance is to try keep them chain stuned. their lethal land rate is just ******ed.
parry stance is ****, only time i would even cosider using it would be against a tyrant in bison, and then only if you also have damage reflect agument too.
you mean parry or riposte?
riposte is the one with reflect and i basically always use it versus tyrants and destros, as i see it the only chance i have of beating either of those is if they kill themselves ><
parry is basically useless for me since it lowers your offensive stats way more than it raises your defenses so unless i can toggle it on and off in the millisecond it takes for someone to do some epic wipe my cp in 1 second skill i'll just end up screwing myself over
