I remember people talking about how there is always a class that gets a huge boost from certain updates. For example, I think it was C2, that the Daggers really were overpowered. C4 was the Chronicle of the Soultaker. Early on the SPS was a menace.
Ladies and Gentlemen, my fellow Kamaels, I have been preaching this for a while now based on only rumors and 2nd hand information.
The Russian PTS has been up for a few days now. Courtesy of BIGBADSHAMAN, here are some very important numbers for you all to ponder. Here are the re-use times for some of our more commonly used skills:
steal divinity has a ******edly short cooldown of 12s
soul of pain ~1.2 second re-use
annihilation circle ~1.2 second re-use
soul strike ~12s second re-use
curse of divinity 2s second re-use
vortex 12 second re-use
Extinction 12 second re-use
leopold 40 second re-use
Talk about nuke DPS grouping for spike damage. Steal Divinity/SoP/AC/SoP/AC/Sop/AC/SoP/AC/SoP/AC/Steal Divinity repeat (just a quick rough DPS mock up). That will be brutal.
We now have truly spammable nukes and we will obliterate target buffs in less then 36 seconds. I know all classes got a boost, but remember this, we are one of the few classes that have not had the chance to enchant for Elemental damage. We will pwn!
Hopefully these changes make it to our NAPts and go live. WOW!
So far, the last nuker party I was invited was pretty boring... with this we soulhounds can actually hit both melee or nuker parties... ^^ this is cool.

But hehe since I play in this server I've been a soulbreaker as main. Before kamael existed I used to play support... but since the kamael chronicle, I'm soulhound to the core XD.
Thanks for the "fotm" thing ^^ hehe indeed we will see many kamaels around next month... specially with the 75 Gracia Final Form skill ^^ we will be the only ones that won't look like a silly bird in aerial hunting. That really rocks ^^
Kronk, another piece of good news for you! I just visited the russian gracia final PTS and it seems like Lightning Shock will have a reuse of about 5(!!) seconds. That's less than the para actually lasts :)
Omg... I need to lvl up faster!! ^^ This will change a lot the way pvp and pvp works for some classes... soloing for a SoulHound will be far more easy.... Hope they don't change things too much.
Im going into the PTS after work if it is up and running. I want to get my own actual N. American re-use timers.
I have received nothing but good news on our re-use on all skills. We may of jumped up into the , dare I say it, op tier of classes.
Yes, to the person that posted before me, Lightning shock seems to have changed from a 10 to 5 second re-use. That is pretty nasty. 2 Cancels in 12 seconds and just chain lightning shock. Almost takes the challenge out of it.
