Temple Knight Dyes

What are good dyes for the temple knight tanks! im fairly new to this so any help would be greatly appreciated
+5 STR -5 CON for both PvP and PvE.
+4 WIT -4 INT for faster casting of your Magics.

Forget the +CON -STR Dyes they used to make for Tanks.
The main requirement these days is DPS.
Besides with decent S grade Gear and 79lvl Skill your P.Def/M.Def is more than enough to keep you alive.
Either

+5 dex or +5 str, I just like Dex alot but sure +Str is very good too either one your not going wrong.

+4 wit <-- will never remove that I have it and love it. Cast spd and some resits
i use -2 dex +2 str and im very happy :)
I did that too for NM hvy to un-nerf the DEX

Should have done it CON though, but might change my dye setup's when subs are done :D
I got no dyes at all, cause I wanna keep all my fighter stats (con, str, dex), cause we got nothing really much of, that could be sacrificed.

I rather stay dynamic to both sides, dmg and HP, through different weapons. Health weapon for raids, Hellbound or other spots where you just need tons of HP.

Focus weapon for small parties (pagan, ..) or PvP

Firstly I would like to point out that there is no perfect dye set up. Every set up has its advantages and disadvantages.
Since you say you are new, I suppose you are below lvl 70, maybe even below lvl 60. Here are my suggestions:
If you have friends and party with them, do RB at your lvl etc, leave your toon as it is.
If you play solo or duo, get yourself +5str-5con. Mobs at lower lvl are not very dangerous, so you can survive even with lower hp. The difference in patt is big in comparison to the hp you loose. If you use vanguard to lvl, even better.
After lvl 70, right when you start tanking the big RBs (70+) you will need more hp, so I suggest changing your dyes to +str-dex.
If you have parties all the time and never solo you can try +con-str and +dex-str. Your dps will be very low, but you will be a great tank.
Now if you want to pvp, you should also consider +con-dex (additionaly to +str-dex). Con is more important for tanks than dex, since it increases hp, cp, weight limit (more cp pots) and stun resistance.

My final suggestion: every player adopts to his own play style, especially in pvp. Others try to be small DDs, others chase archers, others hit on enemy support toons, others try to stun/debuff the enemy, others try to protect their partymates. According to your own playstyle you will find that one dye set up, suits you more and serves your playstyle better.
yeah what he said........

but after you 76 you get a toggle and passive for everything +con resist's and higher bosses just mean higher level buffs to build you up with.

So try what works out that's the idea, but dude aint lying to you about those dye's
I didnt get any till 70 so w/e you wanna do is fine.

I had a good Rb setup a few times and didnt ever find +CON something that I was in need of or even a HP weapon. Just **** good heals was enough just dont screw you STR too much in place of crappy heals.'
To check the effects of every dye, in case you don't know it already there is a calculator programm. A little outdated, but still accurate in most statistics. You can especially see stats that you can't see in game like shield rate and shield power, damage per second etc.

It is called l2calc.
There are different variations around the net right now, but it is very useful tool for every player.
Just to give my 2 cents on the subject. I used to have +2 str -2 con prior to 76, but dropped it. I plan on getting +2 dex -2 str to balance out the IC armour, when I eventually get it. I did not find that the extra strength made much of a difference especially after I got a forgotten blade. I however like the extra speed and criticals that the dex give.
thats always a good suggestion

when I get into an IC set I wanna try doing +5 dex -5 con since we get a passive bleed resist and stun toggle. Also bleed resist of the IC makes up and the loss in HP is given back from the IC set bonus in HP.

anyway i'll test it one of these days
I think +dex is only good for run speed, for dps +str beats it hands down. I have used +5 dex and +5 str at different times and really didn't notice an effect going from +5 -> +0 dex on dps. :(

I removed my dex tat when I switched from tallum heavy to IC and felt like I might be able to take a few hits at sieges.
-dex +str +con
Well, we cant forget the armor set in question.

ATM im using majestic heavy (no money for IC) so i get a +4str -2dex -2con, and its a really good pve set and i can tank any 70~78 rb without problem using a health weapon.

IC set can be a problem cause you went down with -4 dex, would be perfect to if we could negate the dye efects.
I've tried both +str and +dex. Both are OK for PvE at lower levels. At higher levels I prefer no dyes.
