What's with the lag

Last night i was having a horrible time just moving around in Giran. The lag was monumental. The last time i remember something like this some people were attacking the servers which inturn caused everyone to restablish their accounts.

I also noticed that the server (Phoenix) was a bit sparse. and there seemed to be some nice deals in Giran (some of the prices were reasonable).

Is there something going on ??

Don't forget that they're apparently getting the PTS ready, usually when they do that, I get lots of lag as well.

I haven't logged in the whole week so I can't say this time, really.

It was the same for me and a clannie outside Goddard last night. Can only hope that it is, in fact, because of PTS preperation. Though, I would have thought that they'd have made a new announcement by now. Hmph!

and you call that lag ??

i have experience with that, it starts almost everyday at the same time, when the clock shows 19:00 (GMT+2) you must be prepared, cause the lag is coming (do you smell what the lag is cooking ?? )

yesterday i was lvl-ing friend in branded .. lol 3 3ooms with my WL and good i get OOP SE to recharge me ...

lag lasted for 40-50 min and it was terrible

Are you sure it's not on your own side? It could be a daily scheduled antivirus scan, for example.

I have not experienced any lag , teon server.

Game was unplayable for me yesterday. I woke up and everytime I logged in I got DC'd upon logging in. Sometimes I got DC'd before I could even log in (message at log-in screen). Sometimes I could log in and whenever I would try to port or anything, I'd get DC'd.

I decided to go visit (i.e. annoy) friends and family instead.

It was fine when I got back home, though... Like 13 hours later...

Usually, over the past 4 years, I've experienced bad lag each time there's a new Chronical going to the PTS. That's my guess for this time as well.

It could be explained by PTS stress testing however I don't think NC worked yesterday because it was a holiday day.
