We are not the market that needs to be made aware of new updates, btw.. Theres plenty of other potential players who may be willing to check out a new game update, and none of them are on these forums
This is only a preview site, kind of a poorly advertising site, I don't even worry about this since it doesn't contain any useful information for most of the players... yet, I would worry if when the update is implemented we don't get the real changes that we've been discussing since a while ago.
I've seen that ad (korean version) about a year ago, when you, dear GM's, just run CT2.2 PTS. So, now i need to see at least PTS of Gracia: Final. And hope to see live server updated this month.
It's the preview site Korean players got before their Gracia Final PTS. Like, when the Korean devs were still trying to come up with ideas about what exactly to change in that expansion. That's why no detailed information is on that site.
Now, why we here just get a translated version of that old preview site instead of our OWN preview site with MORE information (after all the expansion has already gone live a while ago in Korea, so the changes should be well known by now) - that is a different question.
On one side a website already done and a few translations to do, on the other side a new website to do and translated informations to gather and highlight. Yeah I really wonder why... :rolleyes:

This site is useless, and would drive most hardcore players I know (in other games) to close the window and delete their temporary internet files. That's who anti-climatic this trash is.

Add more S8x sets, but please next update you may want to revamp some of the lower level content, itemization, and balance (skills, etc.) so that the game's "fun" doesn't take over a year to achieve for the average person.
The Sigils look nice, but I'm willing to bet I won't be able to afford one until 6 months after the update is live...

i hope You put online Gracia final pts today or perhaps tomorrow, but i only hope. i read all paid service down next week i think you use this time and people in Pts tests and solutions of problems.
Every time I hear that music I go back to lvl 7 on Talking Island when I made my very first character with my two bestest buds almonst, gosh its been what? almost 5 years now?
Yeah this music is good for nostalgia. "Oh back then when I was taking the boat from TI to Gludin!"
But it's about an update, not a downgrade, so it would have been better to use Gracia's music, which is great.

I'm usually very supportive of the GMs and staff at NC, but this is rather embarrassing imo. If someone doesn't see it as such, please help enlighten me to that point of view.
Hopefully the PTS will be up soon and we can all forget about this debacle.
Please note that we will be temporarily stopping paid services. Tuesday, April 21 will be the last date that paid services will be performed. After the maintenance period, all Paid Services will be turned off and will not be turned back on until Tuesday, May 5th. At that time, Paid Services will be turned back on and you will be able to register for any services you want to be applied on Tuesday, May 12th during regular maintenance.

This seems to me like evidence that there won't even be a PTS for Gracia Final. WHy would they suspend paid services for a PTS? If that time is meant for the release of the Live client, than that would make more sense, becouse they would have to suspend the paid services while everyone adjusted and the minor bugs were getting tweeked... but why for a PTS?
Well that does leave 3 full weeks for paid services... I mean PTS really they're just testing to make sure there aren't any bugs in translation or in moving files from Korea to US... Perhaps they aren't planning on doing any extensive testing beyond the basics on PTS this time?
PS - I hate to speculate but it is NC so who the heck knows...
April 21 - Paid services turned off
April 28 - Letters event begins
May 5 - Paid services turned on (and possibly event turned off)
May 12 - Paid services applied to game (and possibly event NPCs and items removed from game)

there are 2-3 threads in this forum that was created when the newsletter was sendt with links to the preview site, so even if you didn't get the newsletter you could read about it by visiting the forum.
