Hello, I have just become a Warder, and been playing L2 for three days now. I am a little confused by the abilities I have now like it says I can use the rapier and crossbow, but can I use them both? Have one as ranged slot and one normal? What would be good to start with if I cannot use them both? I just have a crossbow now from the shadow coupons I got after class change (and some bone bolts from the shop), though they seem to have mana charges on them and run out moderatly quick so I would like to find some weapons that I will not run out of. Also, on armour, where is good to find this? I know I cannot use the heavy armour, so I just exchanged my armours up to the best Light I could using the Exchange system, and now I am a bit lost as to where to get more.
I am on Teon server and my name is Katrijna if anyone also is there and could help me with some information. Seems a bit daunting to enter a nice game, but with so many things to learn. Looking forward to it! Thank you in advance =)

What would be good to start with if I cannot use them both? shot usage is probably going to be cheaper on the rapier, tho you do more dmg with the crossbow - is a personal choice. keep in mind that with a bow/crossbow, you do less damage the closer you are to your target.
I would like to find some weapons that I will not run out of. see a weapon shop in any town... there are things called common items that do the same amount of damage as a normal weapon... you just can't enchant it or add a special ability.

One person I think who would be of exceptional use to you if you're on Aria server is Ashleyhunter. I belive she is rather knowledgeable about a kamael Arbalester and would be able to explain skills and such and better.
For I too have a couple Kamael Female characters on warder, but I have decided to mainly stick with rapier myself for the moment at least.

In fact, you can use ANY weapon (swords, spears, blunts, etc.). For example, if you rely on magic, it's better to use a wizard-type weapon with high M.Atk.
The kamael-specific weapons are only necessary when you perform kamael-only skills: e.g., you can cast Death Mark with any weapon, but you will need a rapier to do Checkmate (your strongest melee attack) afterwards.
I leveled my warder with a crossbow till lvl 40, because there were mobs specifically weak to bow/crossbow attacks (monstereyes and wind spirits). When I met bow-resistant mobs, I switched to a rapier.
Having done the 2nd class change (soulbreaker), I had no choice in specialization other than Rapier (kamael-only weapon). However, I picked Sword of Miracles (commonly used by mystics of all races due to its high MAtk and Acumen special ability) as an extra weapon, since I prefer hunting in a nuker's way rather than close range fighting.
If you, upon reaching lvl 40, pick Arbalester class, you will have to focus on using a crossbow.
