quick request for the event, pls in the name of god DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT make 1 letter for each word impossible to get, space it out a little. no one wants 200 of each other letter before they finnally get 1 word complete.
Hmm this is the first time that I can remember that an event has overlapped with the release of a new Chronicle/Throne (letters won't drop after the update, but the event managers will remain). Wonder if that introduces any additional complexity? (I guess not, it's just a couple of extra NPCs in town). But still ... interesting. I can forsee some wicked inflation occurring in the first few weeks of Gracia (new update almost always = higher prices for a while ... combine that with people being cashed up from the event, and it could be a good time to make some deals).

This event is crap because even if you manage to get 5Years you'll receive some stupid box or lifestone.
Korean get's Vesper Items when relise CT2.3. We get only LSs (oh wait, i allready have ~1k LS on my WH!) and "nice, cute and great" C3-item Ring of Core.

Enjoy every gift ! Even a "crappy" firestone is better than nothing ! *_*Crappy fire stone...... I would be overjoid to get a few fire stones or any other element stone for that matter. I do wish though they would remove enchant scrolls from events as rewards, there are all ready to many in the market.

PTS was piece of junk. everybody wearring dynasty only, no B, A, S84 sets to compare. I did'nt liked it at all.
For once, on this event, I plan on playing all of my pieces and not selling any of them. Come on Boss Jewelry :D but most likely I'll end up with regular rewards but that's okay too. :D
It is nice to have a chance at some boss jewels but I don't have my hopes up. Of the last 4 years I have yet to meet or know anyone that got a top prize from such events. I do need some more dough though.

It would be great if we could buy some items/mounts/etc...to help out our characters. It would give NC some of the $ that is currently going to RMT on ebay and beyond...

Now that the adena cap has been raised, it's likely the event boss jewels (and everything else) will sell for much higher than before. Not because it's worth that much, but because people can ask for much more in their private shops.

You will never see an event in NA L2 that wasn't done in Korea first. Just so you know this event isn't new it's just renamed a couple letters and a number added to the same letter event we have had a few times before.

Back in 2005 the events and rewards were awesome. I remember the first letter event, raid boss events and pumpkin(squash now) events. They were all well worth the time and effort put into them to get the rewards. Ever since the rewards for events have been the same and in some cases even better, but the chance of getting those rewards have diminished time after time to the point where alot of people don't even participate.
Don't count on a boss jewel but be very very happy if you are the lucky person on the server to get one.

Everyone here knows lineage2 is all about grinding and more grinding, followed by some kick *** pvp before u go out for more grinding!
Everyone gets a chance of getting something good in this event, it does not mean that it WILL happen. Even I don't get an AQ or something valueable I'll still be very satisfied with buff pots - very useful in dungeons and can save your *** in tough situations.
I am close to finishing my set and i'll use any help I can get.
Don't waste your time complaining, go grind already!!!

No doubt in my mind that the maintence killed the drop rate. Before it, when the servers first came up, I got 3 IIs and 2 5's while farming light blue/dark blue monsters for the new spell books... now I can't make 1 word after a few hours hunting on iop?

Yeah, I know its whining, but I concur. Cause of work and school I never get anything great. Just dont have the time to grind for 14hrs as others here do. I just wanted to walk away after 5 yrs with something mildly cool like a jester hat. Not looking to get rich, just some flair for my toon.
BTW, that teddy bear hat is like the gayest thing I have ever seen on a toon.
Something is seriously weird with this event. I've been hunting with my gf today and I get about 3 times as many letters as her. We've been playing for 2 hours now and I have five II's so far while she only has one. She's annoyed to say the least!

I wonder GM's are reading this forum ? Four days and no1 get letter "C". And what with mineral boxes its the lowest prise and i didnt get any, after 20 words. And give me AQ already :)
They wont increase the event duration by a week.. The market of all things rare and holy would be ruined for months. Prices are already taking a sky dive. I guess it`ll just end without the C but im not to bothered myself (not that i got ANYTHING of worth yet out of my boxes.. got like 30 juices :/ )
i think 2 ways posible
1st. event w'll end w/o C letter
2nd. after weekly maintance C w'll be added and event time w'll increased for 1 week And all youll get is Juices and SOE scrolls
I have yet to see a good reward from the event so far diferent town soe scroll, buff juices and, well that's it and yes the drop rate is so low now they should made all letters drop equally the chance to get something is so low that it doesn't mater if you make 100 words you will end with like 100 different buff potions

That's pretty much what I did, got it and sold it. But even when I didn't need the Ring of Core, it's nice to have the chance to get 400kk out of an event with just 2 hours playing =p
I am disappointed that NCS dosnt admit there mistake of not introducing the C. This event is ruined by something like 33% and considering that C was part of the word with mid box rewards i would say is even worse. So no mater how good any one done so far in my eyes this event was a fiasco and the way NCS West acts about (by not acting towards a fix) it shows the lack of any respect for customers they are well known for.
well i must say that at the end of this event i'll probably bang my hean on the wall as hard as i can. The only thing i really wanted and had a chance to get from this event was that jester hat ... got 2x piggy and a teddy bear... God please make them tradeable at the end of the event

haha i got 1 jester hat in like the first word turned in :P No other hat since and i don't care, i look soooo cool in it~! I hope it will never be tradable, i want to be one of the "few" who have one:p Not even the top 76 ls i got cant compare to the hat or the wind/earth stones all junk compared to the hat :eek::rolleyes:
Well, i got a reward thats not even on the **** list. Top grade life stone 76 for the "5years" combo. How the hell do you get a reward thats not even on the list ? or did they forget to put the AQ in, n gave me a top grade life stone 76. if thats the case, that is 1 serious insult ;P.
Im almost glad the C didnt drop really.... I have just returned to the game but naked, 0 adena and all.... This event started and if i sell the stuff i made this week im over 100 mill earned.. If the C had dropped as much as you'd expect, id probably be closer to 160 mill

me too. I enjoyed it MUCH MUCH more when there were no 3d class, no 77 lvl and TOP "B" is the only /true weapon!

How is that overkill? Once you need A and S gear you need every nickel you can. S weapons run 300 million and up. Just because you don't have a need for it now doesn't mean you won't later. I'd start saving your adena and mats from the start of the character.

I was like OMGOMG and thought it was some special thing that would drop items. Nope, killed it and not only did it not drop anything another event mob spawned...then another...then another and another for a total of 5. None dropped anything and wasted about 3k css and my grinding time. Must be a bug left over from another event. Talk about dissapointment!

Not a bug .. it's a feature. Those have been there since Cruma was revamped and over 56s were blocked from entering in Gracia Part 1

The amount of Exp. and SP players get from hunting monsters in Cruma Tower have been increased.
New event monsters that can change or help the hunting flow have been added.
Good event, though glad to see it go, but will welcome it again next year or whenever. I don't want to sell my attribute stones for 30mil. Yes, I am a greedy person. I will wait a few more weeks to a month to sell them all.
Even though I only got 1 C, I didn't mind, my bro got an AQ so thats cool. This morning I grinded 2 rounds and got a Wind Stone. all together I made a bit over 200mil-250mil + juices, 1 jester hat, 2 piggie hats.
what the heck! Ok...so if I were to spoil them I would have gotten enchant scrolls or something? well well well...just so happens I have a level 36 spoiler that still needs to go through academy and get leveling a wolf of their own...thanks for the info! I wonder why they limited cruma level? So people dont take advantage of this new event mobs or? Hmmm well if I do find something super awesome, I will be sure to keep it a secret to be greedy mwhhahah
