Server timeouts 100% of the time, and everyone I've called is having the same issue.

No one was banned. Friend is reactivating his buffers after a break and wondering why he cannot get into the site. He's still trying, btw - 2 hours later.

Well... I have to agree with Trensharo here, it took me literally 10 minutes, if not more, to be able to deactivate my two accounts, and that was like last week... I was thinking it was on my end, it's good to know that it wasn't. The new site is pretty, but it's slow as heck. I thought originally that it was a temporary issue, but it seems it's not.
If I had been automatically renewed on my account because the PlayNC site isn't working properly, I'd have been really ****** off.
And as for Spud, I think he meant that everyone who got banned (and unbanned) was trying to get their accounts reactivated at the same time and causing server load. That's how I read it, though. But I know Spud for a longer time now so maybe I understand him better :D

I was, but that was last week I guess. After many tries (many... for two accounts, I think I had to try at least 10 times for EACH account) and much patience, I managed to cancel my subscription.
But I was having issues as well. And I think that posting it on the forums is one way of getting them to know that something's wrong there. We, as players, need to access our PlayNC account to pay for the game and order paid services and so on, and if the playNC page isn't working, how are we supposed to write a ticket?
I'm not sure if the ticket support is working now, but when I was trying to cancel my subscription, not even that seemed to worked well for me.

Someone else on Bartz said that it took him 5 hours to apply a game time card to his account due to these issues...

The NCsoft site (and specifically the account area) is being hit pretty hard due to a Guild Wars promotion that is going on right now in addition to the account load from NCsoft partnering with STEAM earlier this week.
We apologize for any inconvenience this is causing everyone, and want to know our team is hard at work to fix this issue.

Why would someone go back from the confirmation screen to click submit again?

When you click submit, the button becomes inactive, then you go to a screen that says "your account has been reactivated" and close the window (or log out and close the window, or go to you account screen to verify). You do realize that before, the server would TIME OUT everytime you tried to even log into the site? It's not like he sat there pressing submit-backspace-submit-backspace. I know this for a fact.
How can one account have 3 reactivations at one time?
In either case, it doesn't matter. He will get his money back. It's not my problem, just letting them know so they can fix it or provide a meaningful workaround.
Next time someone goes to reactivate I hope it charges them 3x so they can see what I'm talkin about :P

It is working now, but been blocked from Game for a few days because of an inability to use their account management site. Site although up would not load.
Yep, I checked it this morning and it was working. So it was down for... 4 days? Pretty crappy that they do things without having an idea how it would affect the majority of their current/other customers, IMO.
