I have heard of some people using programs but I've never actually seen one myself. Have you tried opening a ticket with a GM to see if they can do something about it? I'm sure that if you told someone then action could/would be taken. The stuff you are describing can't be condoned since it sounds like a pretty egregious violation of the EULA/TOS.
It gets resolved, it's just that we might not always see it as bots breed like termites. Or perhaps a monster from a sci-fi movie. Kill one, it gets replaced by three more.
I don't envy NCsoft's job for monitoring/banning bots and sifting through the thousands of daily reports.
Keep faith. Utilize the bot report button, take screenshots, manually submit their names in a petition (online, if you have to...with the screenshots). Explain WHY you think they're bots and what observations you've made. This is what I do, and it has worked before.

Well NC has thousands and thousands of reports to go through each day. Just keep faith. It's something that will never truly go away, as there are cheaters in every part of life. They'll ban them and more will return. It's just how things are.

NCSoft should hire more efficient GMs imo. NCsoft, if you are reading this, hire me as a bot hunter and I promisse I'll get rid of all the bots in a especified server in less than a month, else you don't need to pay me :).

And to the orignal poster they are banning so dont worry, its just that this game has more then enough people that weirdly enough cheat and pay reallife cash for stuff rather then to play on privat servers, and then get banned and loose everything they bought? just to get a new char and do it all over again.

Its funny, even on private servers they pay with real money for tons of equipment and than the server closes in all the sudden :D

Well in luna after we ask gm to investigate our server, the gm have came and ban few highs bots, so i think they will go to teon and investigate dark omens since you ask them to check it :)
How does that go, pk them they come back, train them they come back
you're a bad liar :) or ran into some not the usual bots
In most cases you cant even train them anymore. Why? Because EVERY room is filled with a bot train in some cats/necros leaving nothing to gather. Not to mention you're also limited to training mobs from rooms next to the one your'e trying to clear, otherwise mobs get reset.
This situation works to the benefit of farmers/bots, as always.
last time i couldnt get a room, i took one from the bots by force. worked out pretty well, actually.
Yup this is the way that i get my rooms inside catacombs - One weekend accumulated 20 PKs, 5 each time i went to the room, took roughly an hour to work off each time but the bots stayed away.

lol not really ^^ i just love to play the game and ill be darned if im gonna let some program stop me from playing in a room. Besides leveling the sin eater is easy vit 4 ~ 1 kama lvl 66 got sin eater from 0-76% on my lvl 61 SwS

But yea it is becuse they can just create accounts over and over with no charge, basiclly like almost every free to play games out there.
Hint: High lvl permared archer (enough dmg to kill fast), and a summoner. Summoner will flag summoning the permared, but you should be able to kill the bots before the enforcer gets a chance to log in. Then the archer goes to a safe location again (clan hall, fortress etc).
Repeat this a few times and the bots wont wanna be there anymore.
hahah so true. Thou i just have an alt dwarf (lvl 60 BH) i keep him to my regular hunt spot, good for resupplying and him in common C gear can go red and have no problem about equipemnt lost. Only killing the suport (healer&buffer) of a afk bot group, is enough to get them death over time by mobs.
We will never get rid of them..in one way or the nother we will need to live with them if we wont or not. Lets face it, maybe many get banned..but always other come back to ebay and sell adena...NCSoft cant cut that down..only taking care that it doesnt get out of hands.
Varka on Devianne is still quiet, only a few bot groups but most areas have had either no bots in them or just people soloing or duoing (not botting). It's nice. Just 1 month ago it was full to capacity, bots controlled about 95% of Varka. I must've reported them for around a month straight and I guess they finally got onto the GM's list 3-4 weeks ago and it's been quiet since. I can have an entire general spot to myself.. ooh yes.. fun fun for my spoiler.
I see mass groups in the catas/necros and I know they will eventually come back to Varka, but I'll be waiting to report them again.
Take a look at Witch catacomb in Phoenix. Full crowded with bots. You have to kill them to take a spot and pray that they dont come back. Or pray for a S grader dagger don't come and 1 hit you while you are red. Or expect their defender pming you for every 5 min with diff char names asking how many time you will need the room.
Seriously, It's unbelievable how many ppl already accepted that bots are a part of the game. This is ubber ridiculous for me. Maybe I should quit and go back to a private server than has more ppl than retail and yet 0 bots, live supporters but unfortunately, very outdated content. After my acc expires I'll decide. You guys be happy with ur bots.
