This letter speaks for the live group of players recently banned who’s names will be
mentioned ahead. They’r individual attempts to clear this situation were refuted by a
system of automatised answers and some misunderstandings occurred hence we will now with
your help try to clear all grounds.
Over 1 month ago this group of nine players saw they’r accounts terminated (while playing)
based on an accusation of violating the User Agreement and/or Rules of Conduct by engaging in
the use of an unauthorized third party program. Our stand is we don’t believe to have broken
the EULA in any way since we haven’t used any mentioned “third party program”.
Regardless of who is right we, as customers, have our rights which are protected under the
customer protection of US law (where NCsoft operates the service we purchased) so we are
demanding what is rightfully ours:
A)Date when the claimed observation of such program took place (day and hour)
B)Who from your staff took note of such activity (GM\GM’s names)
C)How was the claimed activity checked\proven (GM didn’t show himself or engaged on any
type of dialogue)
We will prosecute this to the end be it:
-Proof of what’s accused
-Acceptance of the lack of it and posterior removal of the charges
-A response lacking any of these
In case the last line takes place we ask for the legal contact in where to reach you.
The better business bureau encouraged us to try and resolve this matter directly with you
before taking further action so we wrote this letter.

and even wrost : a BOT GROUP lvl 85 in Luna got unbanned recently because everyone petitioned to unban them.
I feel sorry that NCsoft doesnt answer our emails anymore so I had to post on forum so they maybe get a position about it.

the problem is that GMs now are banning whoever gets mass petitioned by that new report button.
my friend got banned because she used blessing of eva on enemy's antharas (she had salvation up ofc)
so you see,I got scammed already by a guy who said was my friend and he took all my gears and NCsoft never did anything about it (ofc I reported).

That and since when you log into the game you agree to the eula which probably states that they have the right to terminate your account at any time (I cant quite it because the eula link on the site does not work...) they can basically ban you because they got bored and not suffer any ramifications tbh.
No there's not ... there may be consumer protection legislation, fair trade standards, tort, a bunch of things the FTC can help you with, there's no customer protection US law though.
PS their ... not theyr certainly not they'r. At least make the effort to appear official like ;)

Not true... there were some farmers that were constantly getting their trains pked on Devianne.. and I never got banned.
This party was unlucky...OR.. someone in the party was using a 3rd party software.. and that's all it takes.. 1 rotten apple damages the whole lot.

I was in redsky(teon) for a while and 98% of clan members uses sniffer and NEVER got banned for sniffer.

TOO MANY PEOPLE LATELY ARE COMING OUT AND SAYING THEY WERE "LEGIT" AFTER THEY'VE BEEN BANNED.
SINCE THE DIABOLIC GROUP FIASCO WE SEE A POST EVERY DAY OF SOMEONE TALKING ABOUT HOW THEY ARE LEGIT AND THE GMS BANNED THEM UNFAIRLY.
We didn't see any of this in any of the mass bans before. Maybe 5 times a year (and that's not often at all) you'd hear of people saying they were unfairly banned. Most botters just started over like always.
I don't understand how NCSoft can have such a low "legit ban rate" and all-of-a-sudden 50% of the characters they ban become legits that are unfairly banned. It's getting annoying.
They should ban the forum accounts of botters like you who come here to cry about it, claiming to be legit - instantly (and the game accounts that those forum accounts belong to, also).
There is more important stuff to worry about, like thier support sight which is timing out on most people...

I think that it's a horrible thing when you can run through a catacomb and 9 automated accounts hold a room and all belong to the same person farming for the sole purpose of making a real life profit is left to farm, while real players are banned.
What makes me so skeptical is how you keep talking about sueing NCNA and how you're protected under the law. When you make bold statements like that it's hard to take you seriously.
When it comes down to it, they can ban you for whatever reason they see as fit. If you wake up early one morning and have a bunch of goopies in your eye and give Spam a funky look -- he can ban you for it. (What Spam is doing at your house early in the morning I don't know -- but that's ok. I don't judge!) If you sing the name song to Omega and he doesn't like your voice -- he can ban you for it. All they have to do is say the community and spirit of Lineage 2 is better off without you.
You do not become a share holder in the company, or partial owner of any services when you pay your subscription fee. You are paying for them to allow you to experience their service. Period.
IF you are infact innocent of any of the accusations placed on you I encourage you to maturely continue to try and get your account back. But if you approach any customer service agent and open your conversation with "GIVE ME MY ACCOUNT BACK OR I'M GOING TO SUE YOU!" they aren't likely to respond favorably.

How long were u all playing, i know alot of players that have been here since C2 that are not that equiped.
Alot of us have been here and fought the bots so **** long we are tired, finally ncsoft starts with the ban hammer and all of a sudden everyone is legit and innocent.
Maybe some of you were innocent, but were grouped with players running progies, hell i don`t know i cannot look at the code ncsoft can.

You see when you log in your ip is registered, now if that acct is logged in from another Ip distant from the first ip, that triggers acct sharing and acct sharing is against the eula.

everyone, however, that is legitimate DOES care if their account gets banned. you dont care for 1 account ... whats to say you arent running 8 along with it? more accounts that arent your "main" so you dont care.
draw the line. if youre legit, youre legit. if not, youve got nobody to blame but yourself. you can make it to high level in Lineage2 as a solo player in a short amount of time. it has been proven.

Why is it that everyone that breaks the Eula in some form or fashion assumes everyone else does it as well? Or is that just an excuse or lame attempt to justify their actions?
Have any of the complaining people that have suddenly been banned for being innocent and threaten NC Soft actually read the EULA that you agree to when you log in. You know, the one that says that all items and characters in game are property of NC Soft and that they reserve the right to termintate your service at any time at their discretion.
(I cant read it at the moment since it is down on the L2 site and I have no client on my work PC at this time, but if it is a standard EULA, then it is in there).
Whether you did or did not break the rules, you could sue til you are blue in the face, but the legally binding EULA you agreed to when you log in every time to play basically means you would be wasting time and money.....

Translated -> We kept a dwarf logged out nearby with a stock of supplies so we never had to send our train to town, and they could grind 24/7 while only our dorf had to go back to restock.
Seriously, the EULA says they can close your account at any time at their discretion, and there's not a **** thing any lawyer can do about that. You're not getting it back, mainly because you know as well as all of us do that you cheated your *** off.
As far as killing the game - not hardly. Bots like you are a significant factor in what has made this game as unsuccessful as it is outside of its original market.
On another note, if you don't think people get banned for account sharing - LoL@U. Go ask Nova on Phoenix. It happens quite often if the parties sharing the accounts don't have IPs that register as locations fairly close to one another.

. . . you can run through a catacomb and 9 automated accounts hold a room and all belong to the same person farming for the sole purpose of making a real life profit is left to farm . . .
Anyone from NCSoft want to comment about this? This is actually the biggest problem with the game and makes other players think that they can get away with botting too.
