I've played through lineage a thousand times leveling in all of the traditional areas. i was wondering if anyone could direct me to spots that give good solo experience that are part of the newer updates. I'm currently a level 32 Palus Knight, So please instruct me from there on.
RRR what do you meen by "traditional zones"? Because lower lvl areas were not to much updated since some time a go.
Any way a good exp spot is near Heine at half hp mobs called Ogre, near field of silence, they are half hp and give full exp, or at that lvl a very good quest is in that area at a different mob, quest called Black swan.
Or you can go stugard territory if that is more new to you.
But just go in a good exp zone and get 40+ fast, rember to do palaika at 36 or 37 i thing for vitality regen.

this isnt too much of a new spot or content. but as a tank, you could try soloing a raid thats 6-7 levels below you. try princess molrang or the tiger hornet.
Also...if you cant solo them...do try and shout in dion for groups. Raid groups are a staple diet in your level range, and dont forget your kama and Polaika quests.
Also...its a good time to get into the catacomb of the heratics.
40's id move to shutgardt and hit up the archaic lab then 50's hit frozen.
both offer quests for mats such as steel varnish cbp etc. and the frozen lab quests
give off silver hemacite...its rare to find a group shooting for the ice queen, but the rewards
in xp and drops are there for people to do em, and if you have the quest items, your a shoe in for the job as tank.
huu... depends on if you got a buffer/healer or a friend/clany who plays buffer/healer and can accompany you. Or you can use newby bufs and hunt in a herb drop area.
At 40-50 for non herb drop zone you can go CT/any of that lvl cata(good adena via AA farming)/EV (very good quest at 48)/Stugard zone...
For herb zones there are a lot also like Aligator Island (not 100% shore about herb drop ><) or near IT/Outlaw forest (you can stay till like 55) melee attack weakness so pretty good for exp/near Aden city etc etc.
Dunno if at 55 you will use a wolf pet or not, a pet would alow you to hunt in more harder spots but again buffer/healer would be good to have.
Between 40-60 you got a lot to chose from and you can do 40-61 in common top C/B gear with no sweet.
So it all down to play stile, goals for the hunt spot etc

Can somebody explain Kamaloka and Palaika, what the benefits are and where to go to start the quests?
Kamaloka
To enter Kamaloka - Labyrinth of the Abyss, you must meet the following requirements:
Entrance NPC Guard Captain
Group 2 - 9 party members
Type of Instance A breakthrough type raid boss battle
Duration 45 Minutes
Entry Restrictions Each character can only enter once per day
Instant Zone Reset The zone resets after 5 minutes if no PC's are inside.
The entry restriction time resets at 6:30 am daily.
Pailaka
The instant zone hunting ground "Pailaka" has been added.
Only characters who are in the process of a Pailaka-related quest and who meet the entry level requirements for the corresponding instant zone can enter.
Location Level Required Quest Time Limit
Pailaka - Forgotten Temple 36-42 Pailaka - Song of Ice and Fire 60 Min.
