so im currently lvl 44 and still unsure about resubbing after this month due to one reason
the time it will take me too see some exciting content!!

as im no "hardcore" player, and only get to play maybe a few hours a night. is it worth paying out 800 pounds(around a year to hit 76+). just to check out the new content as everything up to that point is bland and all the same.

please dont flame this thread im just asking if the juice is worth the squeeze

Dont play L2 for the high lvl content. Play it for the fun you get and the interaction with other players.... And the regulat gank on the random grinder every now and then XDDD

You're paying 800 quid to play Lineage II a year?

No wonder you don't know what to do next.. you're being ripped off mate. :p
You are paying 800 pounds of what???

j/k
800 pounds of Venice merchants.

For a year you should be paying only £108-ish.
this is prolly the umpteenth time i've said this, but the game isn't really about end-game content. it's about the ppl. take for example, my clan leader, she's been playing steadily for 3 years prolly 5-6 hours a week. yet she still plays. not to mention other non-hardcore folks we have in the clan that only logs on maybe once or twice a week, more on weekends.

set out a list of goals you wanna do. short-term ones first, like A grade weap/armor, boxed-buffer to 70+, wolf (GW/fenrir) with top gear, then onto long-terms one, fully elemented S weap/armor, prolly noble somewhere. then there's S80 and S84 to worry about.

roll through these goals of yours having the best fun you can have with ppl that you enjoy playing/chatting/dueling with is _the_ best way to play this game.
It dosnt take you a year to get 75 man. For an experienced player starting from 0 no adena etc would take around 3-4 moths for 75 with a "pit stop" of a week or 2 to get A's. For total noob get a clan play relax and you will get in 6 months top's to the same result. But read quids, interact with players to find out things, party, have fun.
I don't know what to tell you....

It's Lineage 2 man, there's nothing like this anywhere (including bots getting 7-day playtime cards).

I am 51 WC now (44 craft, 36 spoil, 32 destro) after few weeks, as friend of mine says - Grind or die!

This game is quite a good all the time to endgame.
its all rainbows and sugardrops. dont worry about high-end content because serriously, being high level for any more than 5 minutes is annoying. the higher your level, the more ******s you will meet...so don't play L2 for the experience, play for teh players! like the players on this forum. hope you like lawless naysaying conspiracy-obsessed doomsday-crying trolls that have an unhealthy desire to "want ride pony! now!"...

dear sir;

depending your class, Lineage2 offers exciting content for many levels. its not that the higher levels are more fun, per say, but that higher levels put you on an even playingfield with everyone else looking to play the content.

in reality, you are already experiencing the content of previous chronicles and are reaping the rewards of people who have gone before you through the levels. grouping with these people will reward you with a different view of the game, and a new outlook on your lineage2 time.

personally i kick back with a cold one every time i log in. makes it a lighter hearted atmosphere to play in. after all, it is a game. it also may explain some of the deaths ive taken recently, but thats not something i should have told you.

Could not have put it any better ...
Umm everyone talks about the comunity and so on. WHERE do you all find em? I still havnt found one city where people hang and just talk crap. I played SWG for 5 years before this and there you had several places where people gatherd just to socalize. it could be like 30-40 people sitting there dancing and chating away.
I still log in to that game to hang in a cantina and talk crap with new and old people i know that still playes the game.
So again where is this nice community in LN2 not counting in clan not the dead forums here.
you seriously want a forum to spew trashtalk in?

fine.

L2blah. google it, cause the specific forum it takes you to is censored from these boards. fair warning though, players there are admitted bot users.
NO im looking for a nice offical forum that is active with players. My old server forum in SWG is more active then this entire board is.
SWG forum have now 2.1k members on and most loged in ever was 51k at the same time. now take this board now 954 and this forum dont even have as many users as 51k. That is what i call active comunity.
There is no way in hell you can keep up with all posts there but here you actualy can. I just dont see the comunity in this game like some of you do. Either im blind or people just dont wana talk to me ^^
people just dont wana talk to me ^^

That must be it.

lol jk.
Try starting the conversation, wylde, just pretend your typing in a forum. Then you just wait for someone to reply to your comment.

Yhea that might work if it acctualy was people around ^^ Giran is active but only cause everyone is selling stuff there. I want to find a place like that but with acctual players not spaming "BUY, CHEAP TARGET ME" and so on.
ok first i would like to say how nice it is to come home and have people reply to my message, not only that but not get flamed for an obvious typo (£800) should have been (£80). i was rushing!

so anyways back to the question at hand

the thing is im currently on luna in a clan, and although im not having any problems talking to them (english is bad, but hey we are not all from the uk). its the parties that i feel like im missing.

they started when the server went live so they are all 76+ and i dont see my self reaching that high any time soon due to commitments (baby). and apart from the odd kamaloka party it is pretty much me all the time. dont get me wrong i love the grind but it does get lonely even with the wolf :(

just wish that i started L2 in the "epic" days

imo.. if your clanmates dont help you get your lvls, then you should try finding a better clan... I usually dont mind switching to an alt or a sub that has a lower level just to go around with friends, and I'm sure most of my clan mates would do the same, specially for new members...

in any case, good you're having fun, and dont worry, those levels will go by fast, even when you can only play short times during the day :D

t
It's true about taking your time, some nights I don't even exp much just have fun messing around with some random people I met or talking with friends

Getting 70's should not take you that long though even pretty casually.
Just rerol on teon insteed much more active server ^^ If you clanies are most 75+ alot of them ahve subs that are prolly not to high. Ask around if someone wana help you grind with their subs.
