NCSoft has so much lag now that they cant update their servers because the forum is exploding :D
I think there's a few Lineage II players who are going to explode too. Specifically those who have 1 post and a reg date of today and QQ more than Spud does when someone proves him wrong. ;)
they need more of 6 hour for update a server , lol............i'm not programmer , and really need lees time for update a server , same 10 server , and im alone .........

Or because they forgot to pay the monthly server fees due to the work on gracia final and the "perfect" patch note translations. And thats why they release the sepcial offers for the 5th anniversary for gaining the money they need to hold the server online again. Thats why the maintance got extended :p
draconz, that tells me that the retail is dead as hell. 2-3k ppl including boxes and still some bots on the lower populated servers? i doubt.

lately i saw 2,2k ppl on their IRC (around 3,5k on forums) when they had a slight delay on launching a new server that now needs a 8k player cap to be playable and they are still trying to raise it with buying new server machine.
it`s not promoting the server i didn`t put any info how to find it just to show that server with WAY older files and GM`s that care(not getting payed) can still have a large community. don`t say private - 100% bugged and corrupted because it applies to 99% of private servers but not that one.
and hey prophets when i joined retail forums and saw your threads i was like wtf? my previous l2 experiences (from this private serv) told me that there are plenty of prophets/se (if you are se shout just once and some nuker/meele will take you to pt/duo immidiately) that can easly get party/sell buffs in town... but apparently not on retail. i regret doing an se before ;p
sorry for this long and sad post, i wish the gm`s and developers do some more.
i will not be responding any post from friday because then my account time will expire by then. i just re-bought the acc to test new stuff.
i really wish to be back to retail with no bots and easier farming/more pvp

Pirotesa would be the happiest person in the game if this happen, and ofc the game would die instantly cause there would only be like 1k people playing, if not less than 500 - Lol.

I know this private and they are the best L2 server IMO, but too outdated. I just left there cause of it. But I think I had enough of this bot server, er, I mean, retail.
Its really cool the new and up-to-date content but all the botters and cheaters and NC doing nothing about that makes retail look like a horrible private, worst than those 500x privates.

no advertising i didn`t give any specified info. in fact there are too much ppl in some places atm, so i don`t want any more to come.
it was just a wish that developers/gms start to care more of servers.
i won`t be playing retail servers until the botters are banned, because i don`t want to bot too. without it you can`t just get a break from farming for like 1 month(just an example) and just look for wartags and fight. bot`s doesn`t exist of 99% lolprivateservers, not to mention the good ones. so dont tell me that a few non payed GM`s can do what the army of paid ones can`t
mind you best pvpers are usually bots because they doesn`t need to care of %....
just FYI i didn`t want to prove that privates are better or something. i just wanted to show that the game suggestions forum is there for a reason. and unbanning bot parties is NOT what should be done. anyway hope the retail will be cleaned from bots more improved. then i will gladly be back to the retail l2

noone is telling you to do so. there is just 1 left server with official like - files (c5) but it`s trully outdated. (even tho i still think its more worth playing in terms of pvp 78 is enough can you believe it?) others even if they weren`t, now are bugged and not worth a while. retail is so different world. i prefer gracia its better balanced, more fun stuff but some general rules need to be rewritten. just let the l2 be as good as it can be
lol i get the file replace the PTS updater exe and then start it ... now i download all from begining coool. with same speed 20kb/s i must w8 few days if i w8 this update give me link for full client without update or something it's horrible ... this speed get me back at 90years when i was on dial up connection ..
no PTS client here, so no PTS converter trick for me.
i been downloading client for 6 hours now.....still waiting and watching the lil red bar at the bottom of the updater screen.
With the official updater...to long..still half way to go! :mad: But i am also downloading the full live client and i still need 1h to go so its a faster option :p
Well, right now, I just wanted the PTS converter to download the main server's file. It wouldn't take too long to convert the PTS into Live if everyone wasn't downloading at the same time...

you can be registered normal and using the download manager they offer to download it.
just got back from being out of town tonight--((tuesday evening))--evidently I will reach retirement age before this download is complete.......WITH a great internet connection and very good computer!
