I think they are just excited about the new content like we players are. And, they want people to enjoy the experience so they are giving some free stuff away for the 5th anniversary.

I think this applies to anyone that was never banned and actually bought the game at some point. This leads me to assume that people with free trial or referral accounts won't be reactivated.

Oh well, free play time is always free play time although I doubt I'll be using it that much! But I want to quit... At least now this account will be up for almost the same time as the second one.

i only stumbled across this game way back...just think of the potential this game has if NC were alittle more aggressive with there advertising:cool:
Hehe I'm still to know what happens past lvl 20. This month's paid for, so we'll see how it goes.
Enjoying it so far, great community on the PVE-RP server... very helpful, very mature people... all in all, I'm loving it. And with the DirectX 10 client, the game looks amazing, better than L2 in so many ways.
Hmm I still have my account from beta on my NC Master account and when I try to log in with it I get the message "Your game time has expired. Please purchase new gametime blabla".
So apparently it doesn't count for all accounts or the accounts that got created in closed/open beta don't count ^^

I think the account needs to be inactive for 90 days + to benefit from the free 2 week activation.

You can't even log in to these forums if your account is not active. So no, you've not been wasting your time.
